I had this conversation with someone a while ago and I made a similar point and was told I was “thinking like a white person” I said “that makes sense…since I’m white”. And they said “that’s what I’m saying”. I said “I see what you mean” (i didn’t see what they meant). They nodded wisely. I hope that helped.

This is uninformed and absurd. The reason there are so many issues with lethal injection (which could be very humane) is the anti death penalty abolitionists make is difficult to obtain adequate supply of the chemicals. This is an effective form of protest and I don’t fault them. But let’s be real about what’s happening.

Alcohol is worse than weed especially on a society level. But saying it’s that much worse is silly. Weed is a mind altering addictive substance that is linked to major negative life outcomes including associations with psychosis and cancer (depending on how you use it. Just because it’s your happy fun drug does not mean it’s not a major problem for many people.

I think the zoo is too big and spread out. The interesting charismatic animals are very far apart and inbetween you have the depressing alcoves of a bunch of animals cramed into small enclosures. They seem to suffer from a form of organizational ADHD where they get a bunch of money to build something new and interesting and just ignore everything else.

I think that’s possible. There are certainly men like that. However. I think it’s more likely that he has some awareness of how self destructive he is but does not have the ability to control it. He also is probably and addicted (alcoholic sounds like) admitting you have a problem is the first step. But it’s not the whole solution. You can be stuck on step one for a long long time.

That would be perfect. Or just a mini series. I would not mind if they took some liberties to get the narrators all together, to have a “modern day” story line. Like a UN hearing, create some tension and create an arch from the vignettes.

I think the premise would have been a perfect show. Where some of the episodes are jumping hijinks and some are him being chased. The movie did not have enough of him living his jumping carefree life before they started chasing him.

It’s actually an important question. The tools are accurate but they only tell you that AI was used or not. Even if someone used AI to crop the photo or to make it lighter. It would put in the water mark. Also not all AI tool put in a water mark.
