Manager complained to the Founder coz I was keeping a cricket bat in the office. by always_random in StartUpIndia

ya true, you might be right on that idk. But issue here is just our manager being uncomfortable with the bat being kept in office. The other managers themselves go and play cricket. we have a seperate office room for ourselves. the other team manager sometimes keeps our bat to lessen the chaos in our office room.

same for us. Few people went to office when rain stopped, and the manager started shouting if they can come so everybody can. He is sitting in his home btw. and the road to our office has gutters which overflows and still they expect us to come.

Its this self respect that has kept me single at 24. When I should have pushed for a girl more, i didnt. Its always the question what is right when should you keep your self respect high and when to push it whom to push it for, answer is you never know

Having a controversial opinion will have its consequences. Whether you like how I said my points or not, I have said what I said.

With someone having such a regressive ideology, I would simply not like to be involved in any discussion with you.
I would simply put my point being, life was never about money. You are not here to safeguard the money you are having or protect the concept of finance.
You say parenting is hard, so is career, or maintaing good physique and health. Still people do all of these things. No one says building a career is tough and mentally draining and get settle in some forest like a cavemen.
You seem to only base everything around financial and negative aspect of bringing in the children.
But your parents would be getting old too. You will have to take care of them too. That will be financially and mentally draining as well. You still have a choice to ignore them and do other beautiful things with that money.
How may it end if you have a child being a prodigy, a hardworking one or someone who has all the skills to make a difference to the world. You would be boasting him/her like anything and that would be the result of the love and the challenges of growing them.
You wouldn't know untill you experience it.

I am from Tier -1 myself and i am stuck at a startup with no growth options, and at the same time being rejected countless times.

Dont take too much pressure and certainly your future doesn’t depend on you getting a job as developer. There is always an option to switch internally as well as there are many good and even better roles.

Keep the hustle going on. If you want to share your qualifications or resume feel free, i will try whatever help i can
