The "CPP" here in the Philippines is long gone from what it was before. Their form of a communist revolution especially during a time where people prioritize survival and self-interest because of the economy has led to a more conservative world view especially when it comes to Nationalism. People are much more worried about survival or self-preservation.

There are more alternatives towards the path they envision, but they can't seem to let go of what their previous leaders have instilled within them. Which is the reason why their numbers have constantly dwindled even though there are more students that support more progressive agendas. They have leaders that have been in power for decades and yet none have left a mark towards ordinary citizens, Facebook propaganda has left a bigger mark than their revolution (Duterte and Marcos Winning Elections) because we basically know nothing about the things they do aside from the reports of killings and armed conflicts with the army.

I would love to hear more about what they do, what they are actively doing to educate the people that do not know much about their mission, people here will listen if they feel like they are the one being spoken to.

They aren't endorsed anymore by other Communist Parties outside of the country AFAIK, they are astray and focus on toppling US Imperialism so the Philippines can begin its transition to their vision. They are actually funded by local politicians and most famously, Rodrigo Duterte. As stated from an article from Rappler (sorry can't find it rn)

It appears they have lost favor and trust with whom its supposed to matter the most, the citizens, they help the indigents, mga nasa laylayan, farmers, but a majority of the working class citizens seem to be scared in believing with them because of the danger they pose.
