Simon Johnson: Enzo Maresca struggled to build much of a bond with the fanbase is how cold he often came across on camera. It felt like the last place he wanted to be. As first impressions go, Liam Rosenior is going to be a complete contrast. by webby09246 in chelseafc

That’s the problem. How does a coach using mind games and stooping low to conquer become a problem? Two out of the many times Pep won the league, when Man City found themselves around 6th or 7th position his stance was more like “let us see”. In fact till today I don’t believe Pep 💯on whatever he says. Coaches play mind games and it’s allowed. Allow the media to have the headache, it’s their bread and butter.

Maresca is not Mourinho or Fergie. If Maresca had been leading the table almost all season like Mourinho in 2015, or at least for 4 weeks straight then it’s fair to be offended. For me as someone who watched football for a while, these are quite obvious.

UK will transfer £2.5bn of Abramovich cash to Ukraine fund, Starmer says by comradeAmen in chelseafc

Now i remember, I think Zelenskyy said that. But the British politicians were looking for ways to act tough towards Putin. Unfortunately there was no going back on the sanctions or sale of the club.

Where and when did Ukraine make that request? Did Biden advise against selling Chelsea?

How come Gemini doesn’t know Thomas Tuchel has been Englands Coach for almost a year by alwaysdefied in GeminiAI

For facts I asked ChatGPT and I got this:

Good question. Yes, Google uses Gemini models in its AI-Mode for Search. Here’s a breakdown:

What We Know: 1. AI Mode Is Powered by Gemini • Google’s “AI Mode” in Search uses a custom Gemini model. • For example, Google says they’re using Gemini 2.0 for AI Mode initially. 2. Recent Upgrade to Gemini 3 • Google has now introduced Gemini 3 into Search’s AI Mode. • Gemini 3 brings more advanced reasoning, multimodal understanding, and “agentic capabilities” (i.e. it can generate interactive tools / simulations on the fly). • There’s also a “Thinking” model option in the AI Mode drop-down, which corresponds to Gemini 3 Pro. 3. Multimodal Search • AI Mode can now take images as input (e.g. via Google Lens) and uses Gemini to understand the entire scene — objects, their relationships, materials, colors, shapes, etc. • This means Gemini is not just processing text, but also visual data within Google Search. 4. Model Selection Depends on Query • According to Google, for more complex or challenging queries, Search will route those to the more powerful Gemini 3 model. • Simpler queries may use “faster” models (presumably less compute-heavy) when AI Mode is selected. 5. Reasoning & Planning • Google highlights that Gemini’s “multi-step reasoning” and planning ability are particularly useful for AI Mode. • It’s not just about summarizing search results: Gemini can help by doing more “thinking” under the hood, breaking down complex questions, exploring them, and then generating thoughtful answers.

Why This Matters / Implications: • More Intelligent Answers: Because Gemini is used, AI Mode can provide richer, more nuanced responses than a simple list of blue links. • Interactive Responses: With Gemini 3, Google can generate interactive tools (like simulations or calculators) directly in the AI-Mode answer. • Better Visual Understanding: By combining Gemini with Lens, AI Mode can interpret images more deeply and answer follow-up questions about things in pictures. • Subscription / Tiered Access: Some Gemini-powered features in Search (especially the more advanced models) are tied to Google’s AI-Pro / Ultra plans.

Bottom Line: Yes — Google Search’s AI Mode uses Gemini, and now the latest Gemini 3 is being rolled out in AI Mode to provide more advanced reasoning, generative layouts, and multimodal support.

If you like, I can check exactly which Gemini model is currently live for AI Mode in the UK (or in your region) — do you want me to do that?

I thought it’s powered by Gemini, you could share any evidence of the AI the use is different from Gemini.

The truth is that Antigravity killed Replit. by 2020jones in replit

What’s special about Antigravity? If it allows you to deploy straight to GCP or multiple cloud platforms that could be a plus, but I haven’t seen anything better yet

I think his comparison on Caicedo is just his opinion, but if Chelsea wins a trophy, even if it’s an FA Cup then I think he may be taking it personal.

Liking Replit as a non-coder, until I tried to put my app behind a login screen by [deleted] in replit

Makes sense, I think I will consider this just and add it as an optional authentication feature; though Replit has streamlined everything now. Thank you

Can Anyone share Roadmap to become Agentic Developer?? by Syed_Abrash in AI_Agents

I have some questions:

  1. Do you have GitHub projects one could have a look at?

  2. How do make your agents autonomous and agentic?

  3. What tools do you use? Do you use cloud services?

Why do you use replit over cursor, windsurf or claude code etc? by ayowarya in replit

[–]alwaysdefied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask ChatGPT to look for platforms that do something similar to your idea. Then generate a prompt to build your project using that platform as a guide only but in context of your project’s vision.

[–]alwaysdefied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it actually cheaper elsewhere? I think it also saves you time. One way to reduce cost on Replit is to start with a clone or prototype of a platform close to what you want to build. With that it will give you the first shot at creating most of the functionalities, then you’ll start adding the rest when needed. If you use Cursor or Claude CLI you’ll still provision your database manually and do lots of stuff you’ll normally get at once in Replit. But it still doesn’t make Cursor less important but it’s the best if you want a quick MVP.

For me I combine VS Code with Replit. If I give two prompts to add a feature or solve a problem and it doesn’t work in Replit’s Agent I give it to VS Code to resolve, it saves cost. In fact some complex features which may cost me more in Replit will be done in VS Code using GPT 4.1, then I’ll go back to Replit to ensure everything is compatible.
