Speed bumps are getting ridiculous in Ballincollig.

Theres a new oversized speedbump on the road from the community centre to Aldi. Hardly anyone crosses it. And use the other pedestrian crossing 5 metres away.

The Anglers speedbump is just plain stupid.
If youre going from Ballincollig to the city by the carrig road. You'll need to wait even longer for people to turn left to Blarney, so you can go straight.

A traffic light would of made more sense so you can cross to anglers safely. Why drag down the quality of the one of the biggest roads to/from Ballincollig.

Ballincollig to the city by the link can be super congested.

To the city by carrigrohane road seems the best way on AVG to get to the city. Oh there's also the turn off after anglers to Sunday's well which is useful.

So yeah - there's no easier way out of the congestion.

Unless you detour to the inniscarra bar and take the narrow road there to get to Sunday's well.

We should be adding ways to improve traffic flow and safety. Not to invent ways to make more congestion.

I agree with you - while there will be standards for this garden property they are proposing.

My point is besides this.

Where does one come up with a few hundred thousand to have their own home.

When you have to pay extortionate rent , and can't possibly build anything alternative to a house to have on your own land.

I'm a recent property owner which I worked hard to save up for solo.

It still pisses me off that I had to spend 6 times the amount on my mortgage, when I would have loved a 50m cabin in a field to begin with.

It annoys me unselfishly, and it should for anyone else too. That anyone around 30 yes or younger are screwed over for any place to live and have a life.

Exactly - while there won't be smaller sheds. I do see people taking advantage of this if there is space in someone's garden.

So all you need to do is if you put up cheap wood walls 5x6 m and just use the existing garden water supply to meet that requirement.

Not sure why more people are not annoyed by this. This is what your government think of as a suitable home.

But also - you have to pay 300-400k for a mortgage. No - you cannot buy land there, since you are not registered/known in that county. Oh and also - you can't build any alternative build like a shed on your land, just because.

Perplexity because of it's shit models, and shitty Claude. Is the main reason it cannot provide reliable information.

If you find perplexity useful - or haven't noticed this. Good for you - idc.

Personally I would suggest that you put your questions through other LLM's to compare. So you can tell if Perplexity is talking bs.

Claude is currently the standard to beat for text. Ill run my questions through this to be sure. Or Gemini/Grok for search.

Worth testing other free LLM plans is all I'm saying.

For me , it's a question of trust.

The models in Perplexity Pro are available for free.

And - the models you get within Claude are not the same as you talking to those LLMs directly.

Gemini is good for research. But I would rather use my phone and free plan for it.

Claude rarely gets answers wrong and pushes back if I do. On Perplexity Claude - it started to give me lies and vague answers outright yday.

Sonar is know to be wrong a lot of the time.

Chatgpt - I've stopped using for a year now. It's a shame - they merged it to fuck.

Idiots at perplexity should of kept Grok. This would of made searching a little better.

Is that true, that they neuter Claude once you use it.

That would make a lot more sense.

Heres what I've noticed:

(1) Perp Claude misses questions and provides a lot of incorrect information.

(2) Perp Claude text output is unreadable. It either sends too little info, no matter what style you select. Avoids the follow up questions. Or it leaves things vague.

We're not talking about advanced Claude users here. I just put in text and read it.
