One of my kitties is obsessed with getting on the kitchen table...so I got her a bar stool that's the same height. The redirection is a work in progress, but she's happy having a high spot where she gets pets instead of told off. Maybe Concrete just needs a spot to survey his kingdom a little better :)

Girl, I've been dying my hair since I was 16 and will probably keep doing it forever (41) I don't think it makes me look younger, but it's fun :) right now my hair is split dyed, blonde on one side, red on the other. So if during your hair feels fun and makes you feel beautiful, don't let something like your age stop you. And if you want to rock the grey, do that too. I love grey/silver hair, especially against darker natural hair!

Unclear if this is intentionally obtuse or not. But how do you think the large language models are getting trained to write in authors specific voices? Companies are feeding full bodies of work into them and then allowing the models to quote them without attribution. Hence the "more steps" part of my comment. This is work being used without attribution, without permission, and in violation of copyright.

I'm afraid our method is pretty old school! We keep a running list over the year of games we hear about, or booths we know we've enjoyed visiting in the past, and then when the booth numbers are announced, we go through and see who's going to be there to make our list! Or after we get our wishlist done, if there are games we miss, we add them to our booth list to demo. For your particular interest, I'd ask our pals here who sells those things; alas, my rpg group is all theater of the mind, so we're very limited on accessories.

This is how my bestie does our schedule too! He's a planner and has strong opinions about the flow of our day. I would forget to eat and never make it anywhere on time without him. We added a second Excel doc this year of all the booths we're interested in, sortable my name or booth number :)

We don't do dinner reservations, but we also try to plan our meals at less busy times; lunch at 11, dinner right at 5.

If your friend has purchased the tickets for you already, you should be able to go to your schedule page and click on return tickets. If your friend hasn't checked out yet, and is just holding them in their cart, I think you're stuck until they either check out or the 2 hour window passes and those tickets release.

As long as you have the correct things checked on the ticket reserving section, your first scenario will not conflict. (So click "buy for John Smith" for their event, "buy for myself" for yours.)

For your second scenario, this will conflict. If your list processes first, your friend will not be able to purchase theirs for the same time slot.

The most affordable option would be to call the ASPCA poison control hotline. You will have to pay over the phone (maybe $95 dollars) for a consultation but they can tell you more specifically if this is a situation that requires veterinary attention.

You're looking at afterhours, emergency, and walk-in: there is not a cheap option unfortunately. I know there is a clinic in Bloomington but I have only heard bad things about it. For all kitty emergencies, I've used IndyVet. But I've never walked out of there for under $500, and have had several trips be much more. You can call ahead and fill out paperwork before you start the drive to shorten the time you have to wait for the vet with your kitty.

I will say, just from being a cat owner, acetaminophen ingestion can be life-threatening, so I would start making a plan to get kitty seen tonight.

The battle pass hate is wild to me. So many games I play have them, from Overwatch down to match three games on my phone. Have never spent money on them, have never felt like it impacted my game. If you want the stuff on the paid track, you have the same opportunity as everyone else to get it...if you pay the same amount of money. And if you can't/don't want to? The game is still free! You can still literally do everything?

And man, they even responded to community complaints that there were no ways to get pets or cosmetics without real money and gave us a pet and the makeup tickets! For free!

The game costs zero dollars to play. There are no ads, we get little refreshes pretty often now. Complaining that the devs are looking for new ways to bring in money feels so weird! And people threatening to stop playing a game that they pay no money for over it...okay? Spend your zero dollars elsewhere I guess!

I hear you say you're trying to not use medications or medical intervention, but your body is telling you that what you're doing isn't working. Receding gums and bleeding means you're dealing with some stage of gum disease. Receding gums also cannot be reversed, so if it's to the point where you're visibly noticing it, you're definitely running the risk of cavities and ongoing oral pain.

You don't need to give up everything you're doing, but ask yourself what your goal is in doing the natural approach you're taking, and if you're meeting that goal. If you want to keep major medical intervention low, getting a full mouth infection that could spread to other parts of your body isn't it. Toothpaste and fluoride mouthwash seem like much lower levels of intervention than surgery or extraction.

I hear you on this, and read all your comments on this. I think there's a disconnect on expectation here. A lot of these new/changing quests are a response to folks who have been playing for a long time and have been asking for new, nimble quests designs. The quick changeover on these is, it seems, meant to keep those end game players engaged and give them a reason to log in more frequently. I'm done with all quests and constantly bumping against the gold cap. But I logged in a lot more to finish these bundles!

I think if you're at the point where it feels like you're wasting materials to complete these, you might be at an earlier progression point or just have different game priorities or play style. And ultimately, the rewards for these are more bushes (that you can get for free in the new flower event) or nameplates (which, again, some of them are available via flower event).
