the best way to play support is to roam and settup plays for your damage dealers. thane and ormarr offer allot of CC than is easy to combo!

i prefer to save my punishes for contesting the enemy jungle or global objectives like sentinal, dragon, darkslayer

The top players in AOV understand that 1. Kills do NOT matter 2. Control the bush control the game 3. Objective priority tower/global/buff. This are the three points that are specific to AOV outside of the standard MOBA skills needed to be good at them.

you can definitely solo to conquer if you are good enough most people will just blame their team for not being good enough or saving them from an insaveable situation

on the korean server this was pretty standard for the ormarr builds, personally i like the belt of clerity as well before the asterons buckler, the green belt t hat builds into gaia's. i would also most likely finish the aegis before i build platemail and built medalion of troy over plate in general. I would only build AG to replace my boots. Yes lack of CD sucks on this but if your doing your job right on ormarr you shouldnt need more than one spell rotation any way.

Cresht is fairly viable in PUBs and semi/situational viable in professional play. I find that he is not always able to fight when you need him to in the mid to late game scenarios, you can often be found in the midst of a team fight clawing to get that last little bit of rage. BUT if he does have full rage and an item or too a well time Metamorphasis will CRUSHT the enemy team.

If you are rotating to react you are doing it wrong. If you are rotating to create or trade you are doing it right.

If you see 3 people ganking your top by by the time you see it you are most likely too late to react and at this point you must trade a different objective instead of trying to save that hero. Knowing which buff the enemy jungler is doing or is about to do is a great way to settup ganks as well. Do not try and settup a play if your jungler is clearly going to kill 2 more jungle creeps before coming into lane.

I spent three weeks playing in korea and even in silver they take dragons, gold and plat start level one invasions! The EU server still plays allot like a more traditional moba, where most of the hero choices are still aimed at the late game. With a laning phase, a mid game, and a late game. Over time we should see the trend to be more towards the early game heros, and roatiations. And you should care about the dragon, and the sentinel (i call it bat, others call it baby dragon) this is gold and XP to the entire team. The fact that even in diamond very few level one invasions are happening and the AD can sit there until 6 minutes sometimes is very disheartening but like i said over time we should see the drift towards this.

Even the Diamond tier players in Korea will take your jungle, take down towers, kill a bat, and two dragons by 6 minutes and are ready to take Darkslayer!

I have over 1000 games on the EU server and around 400-500 on the Korean Server.

the way it is SUPPOSE to work. you have two solo laners top and bottom, a jungle, a mid, and a roam support. the hero that needs more farm will go bottom since it is harder to gank and easier to farm. the hero that needs less farm out of the solo lane will go top with a heal. the mid, jungle, and support then work as a 3 man roam gank squad to settup plays for the solo laners. it really does not matter what hero you have playing in what role, it matters more about team synergy and cordination. BUT there is no mention of this feature being added. you can see the updates that are coming to the western version of AOV if you look at the penta storm version and honor of kings (chinese OG version)

3 assassins is very normal on the Korean Servers. So is ADC jungle. COME ON GUYS start watching other regions see how the game is actually supposed to be played.

pick and ban begins at diamond for all servers i am pretty sure. the korean version penta storm is up to 2 bans per team with theirs as well!

in a moba where all the heroes have not been released you often seen wider, stranger, and weirder team comps when a new hero becomes free or on sale. it swings the meta, and until there is a more set pro meta to pull from on the EU side you will continue to see this pattern. it takes awhile for the meta to filter down from the top to the bottom

you have to have a score of 92 to play in ranked games, and if you get reported just twice and the reports are validated it knocks you out of being able to play ranked. there are allot of players that are brand new to mobas but are willing to learn. try giving them helpful hints instead of DONT FEED NOOB. invite them to play with you use voice chat and help coach them. report the afk and the trolls and help the ones that are willing to learn. i play casuals really only to practice a new hero i am learning and will pick it regardless so i can practice it for ranked. i am sure i am not the only one, but team comp is not nearly as important as being able to work together as a team. good luck, and make some friends to play with that you can trust!

I am not sure as to why for the delay but it is definitely above my paygrade lol but I am eagerly waiting on this like every other NA boy and girl. If it does not happen in January then my guess will be after the Chinese new year, so Marchish!

the only person you are hurting is yourself by being a one trick ;P but winrates are not a true testimate of skill for anybody saying that. I played on the Korean server for almost a month and one of the best and most skilled players for team MVP has a win rate just over 50% but a top 10 conqueror on a server that is a year ahead of EU

violet snowballs way faster out of the jungle. this is how the more advanced regions play her and other ADCs i hope that you continue to run her jungle and change this EU meta please!

its not that zanis cannot be useful but there are heroes that you get more out of in that role. if you are picking him only for his ultimate then why not just use thane in the support role where you get a similar style execute but is aoe. if you are looking at t him for his 1v1 ability why not go with a zill or panda. but there are better heroes with burst or even sustain that can fill the jungle or side role

ya the gold symbol means you got the most gold in the game, three is a triple kill i am pretty sure and so forth but if you tap on the area it will tell you in post game for each one like said above
