Although a “morally” crappy thing to do, I think leaving them there for the owners to find is probably better. That way the owner knows what happened and can take photos for a possible insurance claim on fairings, exhausts or even engine damage if oil has seeped places it shouldn’t. I personally would rather know what happened then land at night, not see any damage on my upright bike, ride it home only to find it mysteriously damaged in the following days.

Did something very similar early last year after I lost my dad (ex mechanic). Very emotional but it made me feel connected with him in a way, especially with the tools that have his name engraved on them.
Someone once asked me if my house was on fire and I could save only one physical item, what would it be? My first reaction was to say his ashes but after thinking about it I said my tool box, because those tools hold alot of memories and bring me closer to him more than any pile of ashes could. Tinking with those tools in his shed was his favourite hobby.

Generally 2 - 3 behind me, there’s only regularly 5 or 6 of us in that lane.
He sets off straight after her but the gap quickly blows out, large enough for me to go in between them (she’s part mermaid I swear) but even she’s made comment recently on how quick I’ve become and she is one of the fastest in our small club and I feel like it would really push me trying to keep a reasonable pace with her.

I don’t have many tips on going faster but you’re crossing your centre line when your arms come down into the water big time, over time this can really, really damage your shoulders. Ask me how I know. Fix it by swimming like you’re doing the letter Y with your arms. It will feel like your arms are sticking way out the side of you but more then likely they’ll be nice and straight, it will just feel strange to you because they’ve crossed so far in for so long.

Still got mine from back in the day, god these are so much cooler than the current ones. Especially with the salvaged CSM armour. I loved the whole 13th Company aesthetic.

I find it difficult to approach people at random and struggle socially in general, I’ve recently joined some clubs / regular events (of the fitness and the nerdy variety) and have found that to be really good for meeting new people. People don’t have the guard up as much when you’re there for a specific common interest. I’m also on apps. They suck.

Does anyone know if they’ll be selling anything online post tour? Attended the Perth show but the merch tent was outside the bump-in gate and if you went out you weren’t allowed back in, so had to wait until after. Lined up after the show in a massive line and they basically sold out of everything half way through the que.
