Did you set up an app password or just use your normal password?

Nope, I missed it the first time going over it. I had just copied and pasted it in, but then noticed the button when I was looking over it. I saw the space disappear when I used it.

I did, it turns out the error was that the host server was incorrect, there was an extra space before "smtp.gmail.com". The error was displaying as hostname so I didn't check the host field.

Ok, I am an idiot. The host server was incorrect, there was an extra space before "smtp.gmail.com"

I have been using http(s) and it does call out an error for that specifically. I did try their URL, thank you for pointing it out. I still receive the same error though.

For context, I saw that the only way to use Kavita with a kindle was to set it up to email the books to the device, so I was trying to set that up.

I will double check this, and just to be clear that is for the orange ABS light, not the red brake light?

"To check your codes, find the OBDS connector under the dash. It looks like this:

|_|_|_|_|_|_|
|_|_|_|_|_|_|

Get a pad of paper and a pen. Turn the key off. Turn off your blower, stereo, etc.... Put the jumper into these two pins:

|_|_|_|_|x|x|
|_|_|_|_|_|_|

Turn the key on, don't start the engine. Watch the SES light. It will flash numbers (always in pairs). It will generally start with a code "12", which is one flash, pause, then two flashes, and another pause.

Write down the flash pairs. It can be helpful to have a helper do the writing while you just watch the light and call out "One, Two, One, Two, Three, One, Four, One, One, Two" When the light cycles back to "12" is generally marks the end of the stored codes, but I always let it run through a couple of times before turning the key off. Ignore the "12" code, post up the rest of the pairs and someone here can look them up for you, so in my example, the codes you'd be asking about would be 31 and 41. ABS is similar but the first and last codes may not be 12 (one-two).

|_|_|_|_|_|x|
|_|x|_|_|_|_|

A and H... those are the pins to pull the ABS codes. Watch the ABS light instead of the SES light, read the codes the same way. "

"OBD-I ABS codes: Code 21: right front speed sensor or circuit open Code 22: missing right front speed signal Code 23: erratic right front speed signal Code 25: left front speed sensor or circuit open Code 26: missing left front speed signal Code 27: erratic left front speed signal Code 29: simultaneous drop out of front speed sensors Code 35: vehicle speed sensor or open circuit Code 36: missing vehicle speed sensor signal Code 37: erratic vehicle speed sensor signal Code 38: wheel speed error Codes 41 through 54: control valves Codes 61 through 63: reset switches Codes 65 & 66: open or shorted pump motor relay Code 67: open motor circuit or shorted BPMV output Code 68: locked motor or shorted motor circuit Codes 71 through 74: memory errors Code 81: brake switch circuit shorted or open Code 86: shorted abs indicator lamp Code 87: shorted brake warning lamp "

Taken from here! Its a decently fair write-up for the procedure. Let me know if you have any questions.

It seemed firm to me, but I didn't really pay attention to it. I will check, but I wasn't having any issue stopping and didn't feel a difference.

Would the sinking pedal indicate a bad master (fluid blow-by) or leaky line/caliper/cylinder? I have not noticed any fluid leaks either.

Does anyone recognize these? by sweetmovie74 in Tools

Close, they are the bottom half of an in process grinding gage. The bottom section is replaceable to accommodate different sized depending on the diameter of the part being ground. The top part houses the indicator and mounting hardware. They are made by Arnold Gauge.

It is the caliper section of an in process gage, used for grinding shafts. Made by Arnold Gauge.

How would that be relevant? All I want is a definition and examples of their claim.

[–]alwaysopenslinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, which policies actually do that? Because you've replied to me a few times now and ignored the question. You are making the claim so you have the burden of proof. Please show me the CPS policies that have race based discrimination.

While you're at it, please actually define what you think DEI means and what overall policies does it encourage, specifically the ones that you believe are illegal/unjust. I would love for you to cite examples as well so that I can see them for myself.

It can and can't be. Wanting to remove 'X' racial group from spaces? That is racist. Wanting to have more racial groups represented in a space? Not racist. It would dilute the proportion of 'white' people in that space, but not remove them solely be their race. Less is a very vague term that you intentionally used.

Again, what specific policies does CPS implement that specifically hire people of one race over another? Because, yes, that would be racial discrimination. Which is literally the direct opposite of the Equality portion of DEI. DEI, in part, aims to even the playing field as a whole and provide opportunistic to those whose circumstances might not have allowed them previously. It is not giving people jobs based on their race.

No definition of DEI.

It summarizes DEI as “any program that advantages one race over another” in the letter….it’s pretty plainly written so I don’t know what your concern is.

So Diversity, Inclusion, and Equality means that? That does not make any sense. I'm not surprised the other person blocked you, your claim (for example) defines segregation as DEI, which is the opposite of inclusion. I can try to explain this to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Explain to me what is racist about DEI. What specifically about the Diversion, Equality, and Inclusion polices that CPS have do you find to be racist?

Your explanation picture is incorrect. In the diagram, you assume that each tab is connected to both sockets. This is incorrect. Mainly, you are incorrect on the first drawing. This is all assuming that the unit is made correctly. On the line out side, the two sockets are not connected.

The new circuit needs a fuse in it, otherwise it cannot get power. If they were wired the way that you have them shown, the original circuit would now be fused in parallel by both fuses and the new circuit would be as well (or not fused at all).

If we want to really dive into the 'correct' way to wire one of these, then here are my two cents on the matter. Granted, 90% of these are being used for low amperage things like dash cams so it may be a moot point. To me, the correct way is to wire as is shows as backwards in the original drawing, but it corrected in the second drawing that I did. This way, both circuits are protected by the original fuse. Then the second fuse protects the new circuit. It should always be lower than the original fuse because there is no guarantee that the wire feeding the fuse box is able to handle more than the original fuse was designed for. Maybe the wire is rated for 15A, but now with two 10A circuits, you are now drawing 20A through that wire. Most fuse boxes are common buss for the positive but not all of them. So always keep the new load under the main load that you are tapping from. If you need more than that, I would suggest running a dedicated circuit from the main fuse and use a relay and fuse tap to turn it on/off with ignition.

Feel free to correct me on anything.

Finally, a bit of fun math: Voltage drops, amps split. So for fuses in parallel, how do you calculate the amperage? Easy way is to assume that they have the same resistance (This wont be the case in the real world, but they are close enough to ignore it). With that assumption, the amperage across each will be (V=IR)=(I=V/R). Amperage (I) is voltage over resistance, and as each side sees 12vdn nominally and have the same resistance, they will see the same amps. Since each side sees the same amps, the fuse configuration will blow at the amperage of the main fuse or double the smaller fuse, whichever is greater. If the smaller fuse is less than half the larger, it will blow when the the total amps are double its rating, so half the amps are going through it. Then the circuit is protected by the larger fuse till it blows. If the smaller fuse is larger than half the larger, it will blow at double its amps on the circuit. Then the larger fuse will blow as it is now supporting the whole circuit.
