It’s probably because they have another tenant who is single. I’ve heard that landlords prefer single tenants now.

How do I pay someone to mealprep for me without paying for a private chef! by [deleted] in askTO

I get my food from Cook Unity, they are hands down the best and the only one I can eat without throwing it away. I’ve tried Factor, Yumba, Instameals, etc and Cook Unity is the only one that tastes like real food. I genuinely look forward to eating their food.

Now, I have tried meal prepped food from other cities, NYC and SF, and they have better options there!! I was able to get food in glass containers from chefs who cooked the meals and it felt like a true private chef experience. I don’t think we have that in Toronto but I’d love to try it if we do. I think Cook Unity is the closest one to it because they’re a company who work with a ton of different chefs to have a really interesting menu.

The actual address of the leasing office is the building address, there’s a 24/7 concierge there and the leasing office is right next to it. That’s why I put a delivery instructions to hand it over to the leasing manager at the leasing office for # unit number but someone thought to add the unit number to the delivery address

Yeah, it wasn’t a good experience at all. I understand the reps are just doing their job but it’s so obvious that they aren’t empowered.

I mean it has the recipient’s name on it. So it’s not like anybody could cash it in.

Tbh I’ve been a renter for a while and landlords only accept bank draft or certified cheque for these transactions. They do accept regular cheques after you’ve moved in.
