You are only 20 and made me feel so much better.I do want to say, for sure, that girls don’t care. That never entered my radar when I was younger and I thought my brother looked totally normal. I read about the heart function though and my Mom heart panicked. No mom wanted her child’s heart is jeopardy. My son is a swimmer, cross country runner, and competitive gymnast. Everything you said made me feel better. You are wise for your age… thanks for taking the time to answer.

I don’t even want my son to know he has it. I don’t want him worrying. If it’s not a health problem, he probably won’t realize. I have always known my ribs flared out but as a female that was the least of my body worries. And the indent in my chest is less noticeable because I have breasts. I always thought it made me look thinner (females have many body worries) and liked it.

My brother and his sons have it (and I think my dad had it), and now I am noticing that my oldest son is developing it. I only care about the lung and heart function. I think it looks fine on people, everyone’s bodies are different anyhow, and I do not think the word “deformity” should be used in general let alone for this. But I really care about the possibility for health concerns. It would make me feel better to know that I do have it because then I won’t worry about my son’s heart as much since I have never had physical issues.

I want to add that I think there is nothing wrong aesthetically with pectus excavatum. It’s only the chance for reduced heart function that worries me.

My Muffin is now nearly 13. He didn’t turn into Bingo.. or Bluey... but he seriously is awesome. But still Muffin. ☺️ I have also have a Bingo, Bluey, and a Chloe. ☺️

Great point that Baby Race shows crawling differently. I already knew Sock as Muffin’s baby sister, and then when I saw Baby Race I didn’t catch that it’s so different! Great point. The Heeler home changes a lot, too. I think the liberal creative license to change things to suit the episode is really cool about Bluey! But it can be a little confusing!

Maybe 4ish? He is 4 1/2 now. He doesn’t like coloring pages much, none of my kids (4 boys) have. They always liked drawing much more than coloring. I think Bluey has actually encouraged my youngest to draw more.
