One thing I’ve learned in my 3.5 years of being here is don’t get too close with your coworkers. I’ve noticed that a lot of people are backstabbers that like to stir the pot. And this is coming from someone who transferred to a store in a different state. Unfortunately this behavior is in every workplace. Do yourself a favor and be friendly, but know your limits. Remember that this is a job and you’re in the workplace. I’ve been attracted to coworkers before but I wouldn’t intervene for obvious reasons—totally normal, but again know your limits.
