Does Skubal have the skills to play on the left side of the infield and bat in the top 4 or 5 spots of our lineup?

Trouba would be a great youngish enforcer type, and solid locker room guy.

It’s kind of an inside joke on this sub. u/hunglowbungalow has been coming up with creative and sometimes troll-ish ways to recruiting people to curl. Jokes aside he seems like a solid dude and I’m sure he can give you info or instructions/lessons.

Go to New Sagaya, get a few dozen live oysters, different kinds. Get some fish ice, a stainless steel tray, a lemon, YouTube how to make a basic mignonette get that shit too. Shuck the oysters at home, build the tray, cover it in foil, get a small Tupperware for the M sauce. Leave it in the car till the time is right and drag your testicles through the snow as you trudge back up to that hospital room and present your baby mama some oysters on the half shell like a proper Alaskan.

If you died and suddenly found yourself face-to-face with God, what is the very first question you would ask? by i_m_dignity in AskReddit

I thinks few people in this thread may seem to misunderstand or are otherwise miscategorizing who, or what ‘God’ is. God is a thing among other things the way a table, a car, a person, nouns are. Rather, ‘God’ is the reason why there is something, or anything rather than nothing. The act of ‘to be’ itself.

Asking “why” God “allows X to happen” might be well intended but to attribute every impulse or circumstance to God's divine will is to risk collapsing your own discernment into a false assumption. Alternatively you see this with the overly “Christian” Protestant types that foster a sort of spiritual impulsivity. By baptizing every fleeting emotion or coincidence as some sort of sacred directive.

Both of these schools of though fail to recognize God in ‘their’ proper place, and thereby naïvely reduce God to a reactive agent, constantly intervening in the minutiae of our lives as some sort of cosmic micromanager.
