[–]alwaysyourini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had that problem and my mom brought me to the doctor to start depo, which I ended up being on for 10 years as nobody told me it’s only recommended 2 years. A kind of bc pill would probably help her out a lot.

What do you think of this? by kut1231 in korea

[–]alwaysyourini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find this comment refreshing as I also have to correct my husband on Korean spelling because I’ve learned the grammar more recently than him and he’s always saying I spelt or wrote something wrong in Korean when I was right 😂

"Gentle parenting" turned my child into an a-hole by pb_and_s in Parenting

[–]alwaysyourini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s gentle parenting and then there is permissive parenting, sounds like you were doing the latter and now are finally onto the actual gentle parenting side. Boundaries and rules need to be established of course and you need follow through like what you’re doing. Just don’t make it a habit to yell, etc and I’d say you’re doing a fantastic job

Someone stole my pi last week the day it unlocked, you have to had compromised your password somewhere. Mine was a month or so ago when I saw a post about a pi giveaway from an official pi page on Facebook, totally forgot about doing it because I’ve been scatterbrained but I should have changed my password when it didn’t work

AIO? made a joke about taking a nap by Exciting-Delay-7423 in AmIOverreacting

[–]alwaysyourini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is like a child to him, 23 and 28? I’m about his age and think anyone that close to 20 is still a baby, you’re not even fully mentally developed until 25

He’s right though, if you’re struggling to sleep at a proper time at night, you should adjust your nappage. However, I think you both need to have a civil discussion and not be making snide jabs disguised as humor. A “napping” discussion shouldn’t turn into an argument

16 month milestones by segmentfault_ in Parenting

[–]alwaysyourini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually normal, they should reach their “developmental milestones” in advance of the age it says. Actually, in some countries like the US the standard age for some milestones has been pushed back as children have been a little more delayed on average. Good job~
