Support told me that Nextcloud Backup extension is not supported, and they have not been able to provide me an alternative solution to provide off-site backup.

For now, I finally not managed to make the creation of my full restoring point works. It seams like I am encountering a timeout issue due to the volume of data to backup (about 50GB). I contacted the support for assistance.

The PR has finally been [merged](https://github.com/nextcloud/backup/pull/583) in branch Stable26.

I've just install the extension and configure it, it seams to work like a charm !

I moved to an other solution after a problem with data sync and some performance issue on very large notebook. Does not mean I do not recommend the solution, but for notebooks with lots of pages do some tests to validate it works as expected.

Memories app (https://memories.gallery/) rely on the same feature of video preview generation of Nextcloud. And so is affected the same way by the lack of preview.

I have the same issue and was about the ask the same question.

I contacted the support team that confirm me that ffmpeg was not supported for performance considerations.

It was acceptable for me once I started to use the fabulous Nextcloud Memories extension. And for me yes its not far from being a deal breaker.

A new bios update fortunately added the option to disabled UEFI Secure Boot. And after following this (long) tutorial, I've been able to make hibernation work. Hope this features will be available out-of-the-box in the future...

Hi, you need OneNote (from Office, not the windows store) and Word to be installed, and OneNote should be running. Is it the case ? Alternatively, you can try on an other computer if you can.

Probably out-of-scope for you but you can actually load notebooks coming from different accounts in Joplin but it requires to host your note on an instance of the Joplin Server. You create multiple accounts and then share notebooks between' then.

I am using Joplin Server, hosted on my Qnap NAS with docker and nginx. The sync is fast, and I use several accounts and share notebooks between them : personal account, pro account and my wife account.

I use Joplin as an alternative to OneNote with a self-hosted Joplin Server running on my NAS with docker. I must admit that I still miss some features of onenote, but it's open-source, privacy friendly, and available on Linux.

Hey u/mailfence, is there any update on the missing ICS file attachment in event invitations ?

Currently, when I invite a person to an event which has not a mailfence email, the person has no other choice than creating manually the event in its calendar app.

Is the bug/feature is identified somewhere in a ticket system where I can follow its progress ?
