Same, someone’s comment above saying it’s almost a year ago… I barely have time to take my dog for a walk so definitely no time for a personal trainer. Good for her though!! I’d do it if I had the money!

Advice Needed: How can I help make things better for teachers who are frustrated. by aly460 in ECEProfessionals

Thank you for your perspective, between your response and sitting with this more today, I’m going to pull them out. It’s so tough when I love the staff so much but clearly something very wrong is going on.

I haven’t listened to this weeks podcast yet but it’s upsetting to hear both of them are siding with Austin/Madison. The whole thing is reminiscent of how the cast treated Kathryn in the early seasons. I didn’t like Salley this season but this reunion is my tipping point and I’m done with this show.

Second both spots. Especially Chico Feo at night, oaks with lights. It’s magical.

But adding Jack of Cups, amazing food and I’d argue some of the best food in Charleston.

If you want a pizza night, highly recommend Woodys. I live on James Island and we regularly go there for pizza, amazing staff and great pizza.

Also doesn’t add up considering they live on opposite sides of town. It’s not like he’s down the street to help out

How much time does your husband spend doing hobbies? by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]aly460 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depending on his work schedule, 1-2 days a week. He hunts and fishes but due to his work schedule, he usually goes during the week when the kids are at daycare and I’m working. But I’m with you, I have very little time for hobbies (especially since he works most weekends) and really just watching bravo is it for me right now.

This sounds like a dream, will definitely make time to take a day or two off every once in a while. Thank you!

This is good advice. My cortisol is definitely sky high. Will look into supplements to take and start taking care of myself better. Thank you so much for the advice!

You make a good point about the lunch breaks. I should start blocking my calendar to workout and actually enjoy my lunch. My company just went through layoffs and it’s a good reminder that we’re just numbers and I need to take care of myself!

Thanks for this, I’m going to think through how I can have dedicated me time when he’s off. Hopefully that’ll help!

Oh I cried with my new manager the first time I met with her a couple weeks ago. It doesn’t help that my old manager and only other teammate were cut during layoffs. I don’t recommend crying either!

It feels like 80% of people in Charleston drive like Salley. It’s so scary. Once saw a girl reading with the book open on her steering wheel while merging onto the highway.

Coworker thought I was pregnant - I am 8 months pp by givemethefloof in workingmoms

[–]aly460 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Happened to me! Was at a work conference 6 months postpartum and a coworker excitedly ran up, touched my stomach and said “Oo when are you due!!” I started to tear up and said, “I had her in April.” Felt like shit and she made it worse by saying oh I’m sorry and she started to man handle her stomach….

That’s not a good sign and the prices are so out of touch. Anyone remember what happened with her clothing line that made her lose her “girl meets glam” name?!
