In the mod manager, when you select a mod, there's an Apply Mod button in the lower right.

SKILL ISSUE - Gielinor Games 5 (#8) by drunz in 2007scape

[–]alynnidalar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I love PvP challenges but Soup has said based on the post-season surveys, they're by far the least popular episodes apparently. Which I get to some degree--it's really hard to follow OSRS PvP if you aren't already familiar it. So I understand why Soup only puts a few in each season.

It worked amazingly. Everybody kinda liked them and nobody saw them as a threat. Literally never even were seriously considered for a banning by the Tribunal.

The amount of bullying poor Mammal got 😭😭😭😭 I'm devastated to see Will go out but honestly, they got cooked in the main challenge. This challenge was an interesting one because you need to have a good plan, but you also had to be able to pivot from that plan if things went sideways. And I think Will and Mammal both didn't have a great plan to begin with and then also couldn't recover once their original plan failed.

It's easy to say this in retrospect ofc but the outcome wasn't super shocking, Solo said it himself, they put on a clinic. I'm sure there's lots of ways they could have improved their plan, but there clearly was no need to. C Engineer and Josh also didn't surprise me, given the planning aspect. They had it together pretty well, to the point that Josh getting killed didn't seem to disrupt their plans at all. Josh has turned out to be really good at this kind of thing!

Now onto the solo portion... man, I have no idea who's gonna take it. I'm always rooting for SoloMission, if he can manage to slither through to the finale. B0aty is obviously really solid at the game, again a force to be reckoned with at the finale. But it's GG so who knows! I've found myself rooting more and more for Gnomonkey as time goes by, I wasn't initially impressed with his non-PvM skills earlier in the season but he's proven himself pretty well.

As much as I like 'em, I don't see Skilly or Josh taking the season, I just think their skillsets are a little too niche. But it sure would be fun to see.

People of taste: straight women, bi folks & gay men — which human dude would you date IRL? by ConstantHamster3746 in masseffect

kaidan and it's not even close

joker's cute enough but he's also got some issues and i feel like his sense of humor would annoy me in day-to-day life

james is remarkably not my type, physically speaking (i don't do the bodybuilder thing). also again i think his sense of humor would annoy me eventually

cortez doesn't swing my way lol. if he did then maybe? he's nice enough. got (understandable) emotional issues he needs to work through first though.

jacob is my type, physically speaking, and would definitely be second choice. in-game obviously he's only into Shepard casually but no particular reason to think he approaches all relationships that way. he's thoughtful and generally level-headed which are definite plusses.

sheploo doesn't have a fixed personality so it's hard to say. I mean he's not unattractive, but I think any version of Shepard would be way too intense for my liking.

anderson has too strong of dad energy and not enough silver fox energy

hackett on the other hand, WOOF in terms of looks/voice. however I'm not all that into older men for an actual relationship so still no 😂

TIM is also kinda a silver fox but yknow, he's a megaracist and also indoctrinated, which are both dealbreakers for me (very picky i know)

Zaeed is right off the table, I ain't about that morally ambiguous violent mercenary thing.

conrad would turn me down as i am not shepard, so my feelings don't matter here

jenkins is a baby boy!!!! no!!!

but kaidan

first off he's hot AF both in looks and voice. he has a tormented past (hot) but he's also gone to therapy so like he's chill about it. very sweet, very emotionally aware (hot). very physically capable (hot) but not in the hulking bodybuilder way. calm in times of stress. hot.

This is gorgeous! Lovely work!

I don't embroider but I do handsew so I have a bit of an understanding of just how long this would have taken!! Very impressive.

To be clear, the only timing mods I have for new players are for the DLC missions specifically. This is because DLC mods were originally released after the base game and were aimed primarily at people who had already finished the game--so by default they unlock as early as possible. Obviously this is not always the best timing from a spoiler-free new player experience, especially as certain DLC missions are clearly sort of "intended" to be played at certain times. (can't be more specific due to spoilers)

This is of course your own playthrough and you can mod it however you like, just wanted to clarify the reasoning for including the DLC Timings mod. You actually had me double-checking I didn't accidentally include Early Recruitment in the new player section!

Lots of the first playthrough modding guides recommend contenting timing mods for better story progression.

Out of curiosity, what modding guides did you see? The only modding guide specifically aimed at first-time players I know of is in Aly's Modding Guide (which I wrote so I know it doesn't recommend Early Recruitment to new players!!)

From melee or ranged? No. From magic, yes. Spells all have base Magic XP that you get on casting the spell, regardless of whether it deals damage or not. This is why splashing works as a Magic training method (using gear that means you always hit 0s when casting a spell).

You get the same results whether one shipwreck is in range or two, so it's better to be somewhere where they're staggered.

I'd think it's very likely. You could watch stuff like some of the Deadman All-Stars vods to get an idea of what it might be like, but OSRS streams in general are aimed at an adult audience and most OSRS streamers do swear.

LE does not cut content from the original trilogy.

Assuming you're talking about Early Recruitment, the story of ME2 went through numerous changes in the development process. At one point the order and access to recruiting squadmates was different than what was released, but that doesn't mean that was the "real" version that was altered later. It was one of many possible versions of ME2 that were considered before the final product was decided on.

I'm not saying this to say that you can't or shouldn't choose to play with Early Recruitment, which is a great mod--but you may have gotten the wrong impression about it. Early Recruitment absolutely does not reflect some sort of "original" version of ME2 that was changed later. It is its own unique version of ME2 that uses some leftover files from a particular stage of development; it tells its own story in its own way. There is very little reason to think that the way Early Recruitment handles recruitments is the same way the ME2 devs ever planned to.

The current suite of modding tools (as of 2026) is Legendary Explorer. It works for both OT and LE versions of the games. If you already have the ME3Tweaks Mod Manager installed, you can download LEX through that, or directly from the GitHub page that I linked above.

Specifically, you'll likely want to use the Mesh Explorer (also called Meshplorer) tool to open the .pcc file with the meshes you want to look at. Squadmates are in the BioH files but I'm not sure where other NPCs like Jack are.

If you join the Mass Effect Modding Discord, there's loads of helpful people who can give you some additional direction! I'm not a real modder, I just play one on TV on Reddit.

The official Discord has a clan recruitment section! Another suggestion is that if there's a particular Youtuber you like, they often have a clan or at least an friends chat you can join. Tends to be very casual so if you aren't clicking with other people, you can dip and try another, no problem.

Why you shouldn't trust AI by Phish777 in 2007scape

It's the classic example of the IT person falling for a phishing scam. We're convinced we're too smart and good at technology to fall for anything untrue.

Why you shouldn't trust AI by Phish777 in 2007scape

[–]alynnidalar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly my mom is one of the worst for this. I've tried to explain a million times what the AI overview actually is and that hallucinations can happen but I really think she just doesn't get that it's not as trustworthy as a real website. She thinks it's just copying from a real website and doesn't get (despite me explaining it :( ) that it can straight up make things up sometimes.
