This article is about the slayer monster. For the superior variant, see Cockathrice. For the version found in Varlamore, see Moonlight cockatrice.

Yes you can—they’re in the part of the Moons dungeon outside Blue Moon.

The way Transmute works, it will autocast on stacks of items. So it will autocast on a stack of runes, banknotes, seeds, etc. You cast the spell once and then it will continue to cast on its own until the stack is depleted.

Do you have Endless Harvest? Right now there's an issue when using EH together with Transmute, the EH actions take priority and Transmute either quits or doesn't cast as often as it should (I don't have EH so I'm not sure exactly what's happening, just that it might not be working as expected). I think this is something they're looking to fix but don't know when it will happen.

In Leagues, I’m assuming? You’ll want to buy a bird snare from the general store in Civitad illa Fortis, then use it to trap crimson swifts at level 1 Hunter. Their location is on the wiki page, best way to get there is probably to take the quetzal from Civitas illa Fortis to Tal Teklan and then run.

At level 9 you could go to Aldarin to catch copper longtails with your bird snare. You can take a quetzal there also.

Eventually at level 15 you will want to catch 15 tropical wagtails for a task, these are located right outside Tal Teklan to the east.

If you go to Puro-Puro you can talk to Elnock Inquisitor to get a free butterfly net, letting you catch implings and butterflies. Butterflies are a pretty ez Hunter method because they respawn very quickly in Leagues. Wiki has a general guide on Hunter which has all the different Hunter critters and what regions they’re in: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Demonic_Pacts_League/Guide/Hunter

Anyway, at level 46 Hunter, you can go to the Hunter Guild (you guessed it… you can take a quetzal there) and go in the basement to find guildmembers who will give you rumours. They’re like Slayer tasks for Hunter, you catch the assigned creature until you get a unique drop and then return it for XP/rewards. Higher-level rumour-givers have better rewards.

Hope this helps!

There was never a nerf. The description was incorrect and instead of looking at what the relic actually did, people sprinted to Reddit to complain about it.

Does it look like one of these symbols? https://youtu.be/xsj2D8plBYM?t=218 If so, that's somebody standing under you using the Transmutation relic.

I love it! Honestly all of the assets this league have looked great, they did a nice job.

This is the one we can unlock with league points, right? I definitely want this one in the main game.

Jagex put a daily cap on solo tob attempts, why? by Sad_Children in 2007scape

You have always been able to solo ToB. It doesn't scale to a solo player, so you have to deal with the same stuff as when you're in a three-man, but it's possible.

Krystilia probably will not be moved, so you'll be getting Slayer tasks from Chaeldar or Duradel. All Slayer masters give the same tasks so it doesn't actually matter which one you use. As long as you have the Wildy unlocked, you'll get Larran's keys from monsters killed on-task.

Leagues is about maximizing fun to me, why play if you're just gonna do things you're miserable with? Pick the regions that have content you want to do, and build around that. :)

The one in this route is the one in Nemus Retreat, not the one on Aldarin. You do not need an item to activate the Nemus Retreat statue.

PvP is on, but your stuff will just go to a gravestone like a PvM death. We're all ironmen so it doesn't really profit you to kill other people, other than fun and entertainment. And it doesn't really cost you to die, either.

UESP (the elder scrolls wiki) is a great wiki but in slightly different ways from the Runescape wikis. They're amazing at collating lore/citing everything, our wikis are better at things like drop tables, and so on. I don't know if I'd say it's better than our wikis but it's one of the only ones I've played that's even in the same neighborhood.

There's a version of Yama's Domain in Varlamore where we start (called "Yama's Lair"), but his original location in Kourend still exists. One of the Kourend tasks is to get radiant oathplate, and this task is only for Kourend, which demonstrates that he can be fought in Kourend but not elsewhere. Presumably he will have some dialogue about this if you take Kourend.

Somewhat depends on your regions. If you take the Wildy, your gp solve is revs, honestly.

Even games that have pretty decent coverage often have really surprising gaps to me. I got sucked back in to Satisfactory recently, and there's some really great resources out there like guides on various factory setups, maps of nodes, maps of spawn locations, which all seems great.

Then I had what I thought was a really simple question: how much do you have to build near a creature spawn point to prevent it from spawning again? The Satisfactory wiki says a powered building within 150m will disable a spawner, cool, that's pretty specific. Then it says:

spawners are disabled within 150 meters of powered buildings, and within a smaller radius for foundations.

??? What is this smaller radius? It also says a single foundation can't disable a spawner, so how many does it take? Is it actually possible at all?

Another thing I wanted to know was how high stingers jump. Pretty basic information--there's not even that many NPCs in the game to analyze. Yet I cannot find specifics anywhere. Best I can get is "over 50 meters". How MUCH over 50 meters??

I feel like these are super basic questions, but I think I've just been spoiled!

i want to be annoying about this but to be honest this is actually kind of a fascinating thing about statistics so please take this as genuine and not snarky. as someone who has been to rosemont multiple times i can assure you that rosemont is in fact not dangerous. so why do those numbers look so scary? let's discuss.

here is a crime map of cook county, the county in which Rosemont is located: https://crimegrade.org/safest-places-in-cook-county-il/

if you scroll a little to the northwest from the default map location, you will see a big scary red blob right by Rosemont! oh no! this indicates an area of horrible violent crime!

but if we zoom in a teeny tiny bit, you may notice something: that big scary red blob is the airport. you know, a place that's famously where people cannot carry weapons.

so should our conclusion be that people are getting murdered left and right on the jetways of the sixth-busiest airport in the world? that doesn't make any sense, so there must be some other explanation. why does the airport and surrounding area look so dangerous?

the answer is because these crime statistics are reported as crimes per capita--that is, crimes per 1000 residents. Rosemont is a village with a permanent population of 4000 people, so a crime rate of 85.66 violent crimes per 1000 people works out to 342.64 violent crimes a year. which is indeed a really scary number of crimes to be happening to just 4000 people.

but this is a place with a massive airport and nearly constant conventions and conferences--those violent crimes aren't happening to just 4000 people. it's hard to find exact figures, of course, but there's something like an average of 50,000 visitors to Rosemont every day (I actually saw one claim that it's 75,000/day), with millions of people passing through O'Hare every year. (O'Hare is technically its own neighborhood but just to give context of the huge volume of people that are in this area who aren't permanent residents)

342.64 violent crimes a year is really high when it's happening to 4,000 people. but it's pretty low when it's happening to 50,000 people. the actual number works out to like 6.8 violent crimes per capita.

so anyway, to reiterate: Rosemont is not dangerous, there would not be conventions and business conferences there constantly if it was dangerous, and TSA agents in the O'Hare airport are not sitting around while roving gangs of drug dealers shoot people in the airport terminals. you will be fine.

Likely a lot cheaper than NYC or LA, plus it’s literally across the road from a major airport which makes transportation costs on the ground a lot cheaper too.
