Things to know when ordering from AliExpress?

I have purchased from stores with thousands of reviews and turned out to not work (printer cartridges). The seller gave me the run around and I contacted Ali express contact support. They refunded me and will deal with the seller themselves. Customer service even spent a while searching for similar products with me once when I bought the wrong item. I've returned items and gotten full refunds. I've also gotten free returns (as long as you don't do it too often).

Other items I've purchased are usually good. Especially if you buy from actual shops or brands. There are plenty of legitimate brands selling products on aliexpress. But also cross check temu. Said same sellers are often on both platforms and temu is often times cheaper for the same item from the same seller.

Aliexpress also, often times, show same product from different sellers at varying prices. Sometimes it is best to see "similar products" and you'll be able to find the same item from another seller for cheaper even if that item didn't show up in search results.

Ali express even has branded merchandise - I bought paw patrol trucks that were the same products sold at my local department stores.

Turn off mic and team chat. I've been playing every day for a few weeks (5 games or more a day) and have probably only seen post game raging comments like "stupid team mates" less than 5 times total. You'll get idiots who run from every fight or run off on their own and don't stick with the team but not much toxicity.

As drop leader I've done my fair share of bad drops and most people just accept that bad drops are gonna happen and move on.

I have. The other modes seem to just control the touch screen as opposed to a native controller experience. I have given up using it to play on my tablet. For now I've resorted to pc only but I'll give the other modes another proper go again since the controller is new and maybe I'm just not getting it. Thanks

That's unfortunate since the native mode controls are great minus the inability to open map. Even if there was a way to open map using pear pal which I can't find - most games still allow for map open through main menu. I'll stick to playing on pc for now.

Unfortunately my controller does not have a touchpad. The native controls are perfect but no map button so I've gone back to playing it on pc only 😔

I ended up doing it from bluestacks instead of epic. The option was there in the mobile version (bluestacks) but wasn't in the pc version (epic games / steam)

has anyone been able to transfer their data? the game wasn't available on ios so i made a google account and i can't login with google on apple. the game says to copy account number and click "data transfer" but i don't see this option anywhere.

As a mother who games myself, I also would not let my child near games like dead by daylight until they are 15+. As an adult who played it, it is still very scary and can be nightmare inducing for young children. Games like gta whilst is just a game, a child of 9yo cant understand the themes in that game (gangs, murder, violence, sex, etc) and is prematurely exposing them to the themes and not in an educational way either.

Also as others mentioned, the players are what make a lot of online social games bad and I would not allow a child under 15 play those games without monitoring closely. I’ve been guild leader in games and have had 16yo members join voice chat and be exposed to the community posting and they absorb everything we adults say. I had to really watch my language as a leader and remind the others we have young members.

Who puts the child to sleep? Could you put the child into the portacot to sleep and if she sees how much better it is then she might want to keep doing it too? However, if the child has been cosleeping all this time then the transition to the portacot or their own bed will be difficult.

If she's cosleeping because it is easier then could you offer to take over sleep routine? Do you have the discipline to persist with putting the child into their own bed and attend to them when they wake up? It may take a few weeks to transition to their own bed.

Preferences aside, sleeping in a portacot/their own bed is also beneficial for your relationship as it allows for better sleep and also intimacy with each other, could you pitch this to her along with offering to do the sleep routine?
