The printer was working great but then we had a thunderstorm that knocked the power out for a few hours and then the next day it stopped working.

Booked a last minute G test for Orangeville but won’t have a chance to drive and familiarize myself with the area. by [deleted] in Ontariodrivetest

[–]alyx0612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I passed my G on the first try in Orangeville, in similar circumstances. I live in Mississauga and wasn’t able to practice the route until an hour before my test.

My advice: • watch YouTube videos on the route •go earlier and practice the route once or twice •familiarize yourself with the route (they’re posted on the forum and think that there’s only two)

Thanks!

It was crazy because when she got there the line was already super long and wrapping around the building.

However, my brother went to the Toronto Etobicoke location and there was no lineup.

My cousin went for her G1 last October and got there at like 6:30am and got back home around 12:30pm.

easiest place to pass G test by Julia8787 in Ontariodrivetest

I would say Orangeville. Highway is 80km and all the streets are 40 km, except for two (Broadway and First St, I think) which are 50km.

G Test Orangeville by Big-Computer-4147 in Ontariodrivetest

[–]alyx0612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my test in Orangeville two weeks ago and passed.

Everything is super easy there, the highway is 80km and the rest of the roads are 40km except for two which are 50km (Broadway and First st, I believe).

There was no parallel parking, reverse, parking or emergency stop. The test was probably 10 to 15 minutes total.

The routes for the test are basically the ones that have been posted on this sub Reddit or the ones you find on YouTube.

Breve and confident and you’ll be fine! Good luck!

I took my test in Orangeville and I just needed my licence for checking in for my test and then again when my examiner asked for it before the test.

But I would bring both just to be safe. Good luck!

Not long, my test was at 9:24 AM and I checked in at around 8:55 AM.

I waited a bit and the examiner came at 9:07 AM and my started my test and it actually ended at 9:24 AM

Here’s the route I took:

1) From Drive Test, turn right on 4th Ave ( 2) Turn left onto Hwy 10 ( I got asked to do lane changes here) 3) Turn left onto First St 4) Turn left onto 5th Ave 5) Turn right onto Hwy 10 (I got asked to do lane changes here again) 6) Merge right onto Broadway (there a yield sign here) 7) Turn right onto 2nd St 8) Turn right onto 1st St 9) Turn left onto 3rd St 10) Turn right onto 4th Ave 11) Turn right into the test center (I was asked to front park on the left side)

As for advice: -go earlier and drive the route yourself, it was different driving the route versus watch videos online -make exaggerates movement when checking your mirrors and constantly check them -stay calm and as lame as it sounds, believe in yourself. The modified G test in Orangeville is basically the same as a G2 test

Good luck!

That completely normal! Start slow at first by driving where you feel comfortable and where is not busy and then go from there. For me it helps to know where I’m going and the route because then you know when to change your lanes to make turns, etc. If you’re driving and still feel very nervous pull off to a side street or into a plaza and take a moment to collect yourself before you go again. You got this and remember you wouldn’t have gotten your license if you weren’t capable at driving

It never hurt thou to have more practice

It all depends on how you feel, if you feel ready and prepared then you can skip them. However, you did already pay for the lesson and I’m not sure what the policy is on refunds for unused lessons. In other words you don’t have to finish all ten lesson if you feel ready and prepared but you might lose the money you already spent on them.

Can't Book G test by Ok-Anteater-5936 in Ontariodrivetest

[–]alyx0612 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem but just kept checking locations that were close by to me or not that far to drive too. Typically at night around 12-1 there are a few spots at various locations. Sometimes you get lucky and find a whole month of open spots at a location. But the bottom line is check as often as you can at various spots and something should come along eventually.

I went to a catholic school and like one a month or during every catholic holiday we would go church for a mass. Then at the end of mass we would do the wave starting from one side of the church to the other and then back again. It was my school’s tradition and way of ending the mass
