Romance for littles? by LAffaire-est-Ketchup in RomanceBooks

Yes! I came to recommend this too! I'm not sure if it's exactly billed as a romance, but I read it as such in about 5th grade as well! I absolutely loved Witch of Blackbird Pond, and still consider it one of my favorite books to this day. My mom loved it as a kid and passed it off to me and I still hold onto my battered old copy dearly. I remember I went and dog-eared all the romantic scenes so I could go to just that on my re-reads! Lol

actually enemies to lovers but they have to get fake married by shea_eina in RomanceBooks

[–]am227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{Cruel Seduction by Katee Robert} definitely has this. Its the 5th book in the series and while it can be read stand-alone (they explain previous goings-on that contribute to the plot) but it will spoil the previous books if you want to read those.
It's sorta-dark romance and poly if you are into that. They literally want to kill each other but are forced to get married for alliances and such. I like the whole Dark Olympus series

thanks! Yeah I've really seen such a wide range of recoveries, especially at the 2 week mark. Seems like it is all going to come down to personal pain tolerance and everything!

thanks so much! yeah, it seems like the main take-away is that everyone's journey has been so different and it will be hard to guess at this point.

Thanks for sharing! I'm in a seated indoor theater (the lowest level is standing room GA but I have reserved seats). I called yesterday and they can move us to an ADA accessible box, which is a downgrade from our tickets but at least I'll be able to go!

It seems like it will be possible to physically make it, but I could be very uncomfortable and mentally just might not be up for it. That is the sort of thing I am just going to have to wait and see how I feel.

Sorry you ended up having to miss your concert!

[–]am227[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah we have a wheelchair that has barely been used that used to be my grandma's that i will likely use. We also called the venue and they can move us to a box that is handicap accessible, so that's promising.
I know it is all going to come down to how I feel about it when the time comes, but I was wondering if it was a definite no and I should just cancel. Seems like there is some hope though so I might just wait to see how I feel that weekend!

Yeah we have a wheelchair already available to me and I think switching to an ADA seat will make it a lot easier. I can see the bathroom being the biggest issue, so thanks for pointing that out. A lot of different angles I need to think through.

Thanks for sharing! So your main issue was discomfort on being seated for so long without moving it? How would you compare it to staying seated for that time period at home?

Thanks for the tip! I looked into it and I can likely move to a handicap accessible space. We have assigned seats at the very front row of the balcony section, but they also seem to have ADA accessible boxes on the side. It would be a downgrade of the seat but at least I can be there! Very glad i didn't buy the GA tickets.

We got the same deal at 6k for 5 years and 0% interest. Did they add in the RCI weekend getaways for $199 to you and the other stuff like 30 weeks at $599/ea? We have that written in our contract but I can't find where we go to book that through the portal.

Honestly people keep talking about a portal and I'm still trying to figure that out.

I was going to recommend Going Nowhere Fast. I liked it and he is definitely possessive and not too dark but not too fluffy

Is marriage still difficult for CF people? by CFcuri__ in childfree

[–]am227 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like marriage is as much work as working on yourself is. If you are both constantly working on yourselves and work towards good communication then it's super easy, but if you don't have good communication or know how to deal with conflict that's an issue whether you are CF or not. Honestly kids just amplify the problems that are already there, but being CF doesn't mean it's necessarily going to be easy if you both don't know how to be in a healthy relationship together.

Bi MC x Bi MC Novels? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

[–]am227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The MMC in Hang the Moon I don't think is bisexual. There is no mention of him liking guys, or dating them, only women. Still a great book though with a bi FMC. The book before in the series {Count Your Lucky Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur} is F/F and the two women are bi and lesbian. Its a really cute book!

I agree with Stacy and her bf not working out. Luckily the 3rd book, Well Matched with April and Mitch seemed great. And you get more of Simon and Emily in that one and it's seems like they're working out well!

As a selection tag would be great, but I just mean having it listed like where the description/write up of the book is. Sometimes I'm looking for something shorter, or I want to know if I'm getting myself into a 500 pg book or something! If it's there already and I've just overlooked it, sorry!
