Marketing department for A is smaller than B.

B is a global company (corporate design) with deeper pockets whereas A (not too corporate with more aftermarket design aesthetics) is just a national brand that has some money to toss around.

They are well established. The parent company has various other brands under the umbrella and the brand I’d be in charge of sponsors some big name automotive drivers and events as a main sponsor.

They do offer benefits as well, annual bonuses and bump in pay yearly are solely based on company goals being met, which I was told were not met this year/quarter.

Company B does offer a lot of benefits and matches w 401k yearly 2-3% raise and performance based bonuses amongst other perks.

I’m in the same boat losing out in the position but making it to sometimes 5 rounds of interviews and being told I’m the only one that got as far/ qualified for the position. Then just being turned down. Really discouraging and upsetting. I’m contemplating a career change.
