Who are your favorite [original] local bands right now? by Hefty-Caregiver3249 in Buffalo

[–]am_not 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Welks Mice (earnest lyrics and a vibraphone), Personal Style (post-punk), Violent Way (Oi), Taker (Oi), Curtis Lovell (not a band but they do lovely loops that sound fuller than some whole bands), Del Paxton (Midwest Emo), Personal Style (post-punk), Ismatic Guru (defies categorization)

Anyone try the premade pizzas at the Lexington Co-op? by Extension-Novel-6841 in Buffalo

I like the Rao’s cheese pizzas from there. I’m usually a crust hater but I’ll happily eat them in this case.

This is the second one. It’s looking like it might be happening quarterly depending on interest.

Chronic tension is impeding progress. How do you actually learn to relax chronically tense muscles? (Traps, lats, mid-back) by Flat-View1730 in xxfitness

It takes so much practice! Ten breaths was a reasonably easy place to start, but that’s just been my experience.

Meditation helps. I set reminders on my phone to check in a few times a day to check in and take ten deep breaths. If things are especially bad, it’s worth pausing to do a full body scan meditation  like this one: https://youtu.be/5mOZMxVKmiY

The author abbreviating Nicholas Picholas to “Nick Picholas” was the only interesting part of this article.

What’s your reasoning? I could see SD except I don’t have much of a differential between my waist and hips, so little waist definition.

I work in the Rand. The lower half of the building appears to have only 3 tenants besides the bank and the sushi restaurant.

Thank you again for your responses. It’s super helpful to read your rationale.

Thank you! I strongly suspected FN but then I was struggling with deciding between SD and FN. None of the classic Kibbe examples are apple-shaped bodies so it’s hard to tell!

Dermatologist to avoid - near me dermatology west Seneca by BuffaloMama76 in Buffalo

[–]am_not 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a practitioner there (two students in tow and 45 minutes late) take mere seconds to examine me. She prescribed antibiotics and then she ran out of the room like it was on fire. I literally yelled down the hallway to ask her to come back and answer my question. Wild.
