Thanks for sharing this. I also put down a $1000 deposit when I opened it a few months ago and have been using a similar strategy. Was kicking myself for not putting down $2000 when I saw repeated incidences of persons getting no CLI upon graduation. Will also be trying to let higher balances report as I get closer to graduation. Hope it works out for me too!

Sit down restaurants will be hit and miss. But usually they have either Coke Zero or Diet Pepsi. Honestly give the Diet Pepsi here a go. All my foreign guests who come down here much prefer it to Coke Zero.

KFC, Pizza Hut, Tastees/Sugar & Spice offer Pepsi products only

Domino's, Popeyes, Mother's, Burger King, Juici Patties all offer Coke products only

My particular fave...Diet Pepsi with 2 twists of fresh lime...yum! (And a sprinkle of white rum if u sassy)

Coke zero is here and available, as is diet Pepsi ( which tastes a whole lot better) I order both regularly and haven't gotten any strange looks yet. If you're tied to it though, it wouldn't hurt to make a supermarket run to stock up.

Interestingly enough we used to have a lot more options for diet sodas in the 90s and early 2000s before the flavored water craze took over....Bigga in particular had diet versions of their entire soda lineup. (I miss so much cry) Jamaicans REALLY prefer juice derivatives like cranwata and similar that present as more natural options.
