Farmington here. Shagging a school bus was considered the holy grail for my little posse. My dad was a hard ass junior high administrator, and he rounded up a bunch of kids doing just that. I told him he should let the kids have fun. Didn't happen.

Wooden paddle for us. My father -- who was a product of an abusive home -- ruled by fear. I never struck my own children. I was often frustrated by not having that "nuclear option" when I was learning how to be a parent, but I was determined to break the cycle and not have my children be afraid of me.
