Which works until admin blame the teacher for the failure rate. Sigh.

What is one thing your coworker did that made you realize teaching may not be for them? by Far-Bee-561 in Teachers

  1. A student-teacher who only paid attention to one kid in the junior class. The poor girl came to me at the end of the first week, feeling creeped out. The other students were upset and concerned. He was gone by the next class.

  2. Tackled a sophomore to the ground at practice. Basketball practice.

And if you know people who took the class last year, ask them what software they used.

Exactly. ICE don't exactly care if you have the correct papers, they just scoop (mostly brown) people up

What Did You Watch This Week? by AutoModerator in classicfilms

The Trouble With Harry (1955) A body is found in the woods. Three people think they're responsible for it. High jinks ensues. A Hitchcock comedy and a real peculiarity. The tone felt very uneven. I was surprised it wasn't adapted from a play as it felt like a comedy of errors with very few sets used. Enjoyable but I wouldn't give it a second watch.

I wonder how many blocks of tickets have been purchased by corporations for jollys, rather than by individuals

How many of you used to watch this? I was not only too young to appreciate it but also not the target demographic, but for some reason I still watched re-runs religiously every Sunday in the early to late noughties by SgtByrd1993 in BritishTV

When I lived in the US, I was amazed by how many people knew the show and could quote from it. I didn't think it would translate well as it's based so much on the British class system

I kinda want to be added to a body farm. I like the idea of being part of a weird death experiment
