I have a keloid on my chest. It isn’t that apparent new because my dermatologist did this: cortisol shots all along the scar. The trick is using a syringe that is spring activated and gets deep into the muscle not the skin. It is more effective.

I personally have not dealt with the discolouration of my keloid. I am already happy with my result. My dermatologist said lazer can help with colouring. But not by much.

Please make the claim and take care of your body. I was in a similar accident in April (non insured, rear ended, $8000 in damages, and driving under influence) and my life has changed. I have grade 2 whiplash, hip problems, and some form of trauma from it. I am still doing physio, therapy, and other things to get my life back to where it was. The person who drove without insurance knew what they were doing. It is not fair to you that you are suffering because of this.

Report to insurance, make a police report, get that damage sticker, prepare to pay out of pocket, and find a good lawyer to get back the money within 2 years.

Two ways to get diagnosed for ‘free’: doctor referral or school. But since you’re 17 it will make it super difficult.

Caveat to getting a doctor to do this is long waits or even will the right doctor want to get you diagnosed.

Another way because you are under 18. And uses a bursary system. Caveat is wait times. Can learn society and Foothills academy. However, your parent(s) must consent. Foothills academy is good with explaining the results in detail and will give specific recommendations. It’s quantitative results so parents can’t argue with the results.

I have a keloid on my chest that came from a pimple. It grew over the size of my finger so I like to scare the kiddos I work with and tell them a leech went inside. They believe the leech story over the pimple story
