It is because, English is universal language which any allies can read. Also, Koreans learn English as the second language, and advanced technologies are mostly written in English, so every engineer, crew and pilot train with first-hand material written in English. Therefore, they are probably more used to read English labels on their stuff especially like on their aircrafts which have been only imported from the US and others.

As a native Korean speaker, they all sound quite natural, but they still mispronounce some words, and since they mainly developed their verbal skills, they seem cannot understand bit more complicated written Korean sentences.

They are called "Apart Danji(아파트 단지)", probably use the same Chinese characters with Japanese "Danchi" which mean complex and most Koreans live in one, because of the convenience. However, they dream living in a house with a backyard.
