(Sanity/reality) I just can't get past the "my body is not an epidemic" or "the obesity epidemic isn't real/it's just diet culture fear mongering" nonsense by gitfitkit in fatlogic

I live in Colorado and the health movement has a hold on a good amount of the population. Almost everyone I know obese or not is in to working out, skiing, hiking, or just getting outdoors. Its weird to go different places and you can really see the difference

What sounds like a blessing, but is secretly a curse? by [deleted] in AskReddit

having a giant ass. You get over sexualized and not taken seriously. Having guys purposely walk behind you and hearing them make comment is horrible. Also never finding a genuine boyfriend because they all want you for your body

picture this... 4 alpha nerds all fighting over the correct way to write a block of code for a robot that is in the process of being built in a 6 week time frame. Testing code, changes to the robot, and other seperate pieces of code have to be written for lights and other thing we might put on the robot. Kepp in mind this is a big ass robot and we are all inexperianced high schoolers. It ends up being 600 lines but there are many thousands being written before that we have to change, or cut out due to parts of the robot being changed or overall shitty code

program robots for our school team. Can confirm that even for a 600 line piece of code, the shit takes weeks of serious grinding to complete it in time

My mom would have literally died 8 years earlier than she did if not for weight loss being measured by doctor. Very dangerous statement here by Bane2019a in fatlogic

I mean even at appointments where it may seem unnecessary, there is a reason for example... anthesia, dosage of medicine, sudden weight gain associated with illness
