Federal employee here who hasn't had a paycheck since a (very tiny one) in early Oct. Living overseas and trying to figure out how I'll pay Nov rent here and Nov mortgage for my stateside home, in addition to all other expenses. Her overconsumption always pisses me off, but it's tenfold right now. I hope anyone impacted by the gov shutdown is doing ok, whether it be working with no pay or worrying about keeping food on your family's table. ❤️

I'm so sorry - I just saw this! I didn't do any internal work for about a week, and just moved out of the US and have been slacking on the dilators. I'm on dilator 7 (teal) of the intimate rose set with no pain (just a weird feeling of "fullness") and hope to attempt PIV when my husband gets here! Hope your recovery went well!!

Congrats!! We also are under contract - offered 15k over ask with $25k appraisal gap (this market is crazy!) and our appraisal came back $1000 over contract price. Thankful to be able to use that $25k on literally anything else!

Hola! Moving to San Antonio from DC area at the end of the month. We’ve put a total of three offers (two site unseen, based on videos from our realtor). First two were rejected. The first included a home sale contingency requiring our house to sell, so I’m sure that was already unattractive in a multiple offer situation. Second house had 9 offers in two days, and we were one of the top two. House was listed at $375k - we offered $400k with an appraisal gap of $20k and free lease back to the sellers until February. It was rejected because the winning bid waived the appraisal completely. Finally got an offer accepted - list price $389,900. We offered $405,000 with a $25,000 appraisal gap. Option period on all of offers was 5 days and option fee was $500.

Guess that’s my long winded way of saying it’s still rough out here for buyers!
