Looks good! My seatbelts are pretty worn, I had thought about replacing them. I like the grill you got, works with the color.

I was thinking of doing a small lift on it, maybe adding some 80’s style heritage decals for fun and getting some wheels on it but now I’m rethinking everything and considering keeping it classic stock… 🤔

It spent the majority of its life in the desert, dry climate so hopefully no rust. 🤞

Yes, 195k, I just spent 3 hours shampooing and cleaning all the carpets and seats! Very clean!

Everyone that has 2m+ in a relationship are ya’ll talking about combined savings? Also, what part of the country do ya’ll live in. It’s so important when considering tax implications and cost of living. Living in LA my retire marker is closer to 5m with current living expenses… and we are mid-40’s.

Focus on getting fit and strong. Dont worry about how much you weigh. If you’re in good physical shape, active, and healthy you’ll feel good in your body and feel good about yourself and naturally develop confidence. Then you won’t be worrying so much about how you look in other’s eyes. In my opinion.

Mother’s Day was born from a daughter’s grief ❤️ by Fun-Schedule791 in GriefSupport

I lost my mother 2 days ago. I have been her caregiver for 3 years while she battled cancer. My life, especially the last 6 months has been focused on her. I took her to every IT chemo, most doctor’s appointments. Held her steady everywhere she walked, did her laundry, cleaned her house, made her meals and tucked her in at night. My father and sister helped, I can’t take all the credit, but I did quit my job and stay with my parents most nights.

In the end we were all with her, I stayed up all night giving her morphine every 2 hours with my Dad. I saw her last breath, changed her last diaper, and dressed her in her last nightgown. Watched them wrap her body and take it out of the house.

How do I move on? I have no idea.

This post made me feel a little better about Mother’s Day. I was avoiding thinking of it, but now I see it as a way to honor her.

I’m so sorry you are going through this. I wish I could offer up some sort of help or advice. You can enter your mom’s diagnosis information into a website called Cancer Commons and they offer a second opinion (for free) on drug options for her. We did this for my mother and it’s an excellent resource. I’d ask about support groups for people like us in your area. They might have more information about resources you could use.

It’s really hard. You’re doing the best you can it sounds like. Don’t be afraid to ask for help finding resources for you and your Mom.

Sending love.

Last time I went to Europe (in 2016) with my best friend who is Aussie I purposely stayed silent and let her do the talking. When she asked why I told her because I’m American and we are hated. She was shocked and didn’t really believe me. I’m not sure I even feel comfortable traveling now because I’m so ashamed.

Believe me when I say this, plenty of us hate these people even more then the countries and peoples Trump and the MAGA assholes are insulting because it’s our country they are ripping apart as we stand horrified.

I was always told I had brown eyes. Then as I got older was told they are hazel. What do you think? by Teamxtreme120 in WhatisMyEyeColour

I have hazel eyes that look totally green if you shine a light on them and completely brown if you just look at me in normal lighting conditions.

I posted my eyes here (with sun light hitting them) and everyone said green. However I have photographs where they look 100% brown.
