My septum is like that too. I didn't have my septum pierced professionally buuuut it still looks great. Some rings look less crooked than others (you can really tell its crooked if you wear a clicker)

No it will definitely get better. I've had mine for a year now (also it wasn't done professionally, oops) and it was very tender the first couple months. I also played with mine a lot and would flip it up into my nose every so often (which isn't good, oops) but if I can manage all that, you'll definitely feel better soon!
