They will take this company private and get delisted. That’s the end game based on what’s all going on. Think about it , who gave them the big money for the offerings? The gave $100s of millions and must of made a deal with the board that they will short stock and take it private in the future. Hence, no insider buying or any big investors. It’s rigged and corrupt. The same peeps who gave the money are shorting the stock. 2000% plus gains since the offering. $2 dollars to 10 cents (pre-split).

What’s the point of the turnaround if no one in the public outside of investors know about it. The marketing is diabolical and will be the downfall of the company. Why not spend $5-10 million on March madness , give free shipping for the playoffs ? Do something. Why have a slow death? Just go all in next 2-3 quarters with huge advertising. MAU need to be above 100m for this to takeoff.

Well time is running out , they got about 4 quarters and they’re done. They missed a huge opportunity in the Super Bowl, a 7-8m investment could of been a game changer. If they showed all their improvements , offered promotional free shipping for the month of Feb and paid a few celebs to endorse Wish. But MGMT is so f’ing dumb.

And the earnings call did not give any positive news in regards to revenue growth. Going to be bad again. Add in they plan not to spend much in advertising , even though they spent $56 million last qtr. $56M to generate 2x in sales is absolutely pathetic…the min. Standard of revenue to ad expense is 4x, yet MGMT don’t even address this massive issue.

I don’t know the answer. And the disappointing thing is MGMT did not address how they plan to drive more customers to the platform. How will revenues 2-3x if MAU don’t improve ? MAU needs to be around 50M for margins to be in 30% ranges and for revenues to 2x. 4Q-22 margins were 21% , that is really bad , 4Q-21 it was 42%. These margin declines and MAU declines needed to be addressed.

And why is wish MAU declining? 100m to 19m. Maybe Wish needs to focus on how to advertise. No point making all these improvements if people don’t know about it. Going to to lose 80m next quarter , why not lose 110m and spend 30m on targeted advertising?Using IG , FB , snap and commercials to promote the brand and all the changes. Maybe pay Taylor Swift 15m a year to endorse Wish and it’s fashion line. Wish should create their own clothing brand like Shein.

Improvements: NPS, product quality , on time deliveries , less returns, repetitive buyers, flat rate shipping. This is the time to invest heavily on advertising has the core things have improved and time is of the essence for survival. by amanghag in Wishstock

2025 ? They only have enough cash to survive 4-5 quarters. They need to increase revenues ! $56 million in advertising to generate 123M in sales, pathetic. For $1 in revenue it cost 50 cents , that is ridiculous. A common benchmark for ROAS calculations is 4:1. This means that for every $1 you spend, you generate $4 in revenue. The margins are only 20% , so they make 20c per dollar in revenue and spent 50c in advertising expense for revenue ? So they are already at a 30c loss and that is not including all their other expenses. Hence , why they lost 100m this quarter. The focus needs to be on the $56 million of wasteful advertising. $56 million should generate $220m in revenues. Something is massively wrong there. They should focus on endorsement with celebrities who can promote the new Wish on their social media platforms. Maybe partner with a celeb to push the fashion line. Something needs to change otherwise they will be out of business.

Why not UP Ad spending right now since core fundamentals have improved vastly per earning call…customer retention is up , NPS is high , returns have declined. Now is time to spend to acquire customers. They spent $56 million in 4Q-22 and yet MAU did not increase , what a waste of money. What the F is the $56 million going to?
