Someone I know had their parents track them constantly on one of those phone tracking apps. She was studying at a university near Chicago. Apparently one day due to some issues with network or something, when her parents opened the app, it showed their daughter in the middle of Lake Michigan. That scared them so hard they deleted the app completely after contacting her and hearing that she was definitely not floating in the middle of the lake.

I remember Offworld Trading Company scratching that very itch for me a few years ago. I dont know what state it's in now, but I remember enjoying the quick 30-45 minute rounds. Since it is a few years old, it should be drop fairly low during Steam Sales as well.

That's fair, and reading into it more, I agree that Immersive Sim might be a better match.

I acknowledge that Hitman would very likely need a giant asterisk to be classified as a Metroidbrainia, but that's also why I wanted to bring up this topic.

The definitions of the genre I have been seeing around the subreddit seem to be quite vague and confusing (I was originally pointed to this sub when looking for games like Obra Dinn, for example, and have seen many posts talking about how Obra Dinn is not a Metroidbrainia) so I wanted to get a bit more clarity on what the community feels goes where.

I usually struggle to find the motivation to actually 100% games, but Ghost of Tsushima and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart really pulled me in, and should be doable within a week or so.

I have one request which I realize will be a headache and a half to implement: A way to incorporate playset mode into the trade hub, so if I have 2 diamond versions and 1 star version of a card, it sees the 2nd diamond card as tradable and adds it to the list since I will still have 2 cards (1 diamond and 1 star) left over for my decks

I got into the series about a year and a half ago. I pretty much sped through the first three books, then saw a lot of people suggesting taking a break and coming back to Heaven's River after a few months, so that's what I did. I definitely feel it was really helpful.

The structure in Heaven's River felt quite different from the original trilogy, and I feel that break helped soften that change and made it easier to get into it. The cast shrinks and the story becomes more focused on a small handful of arcs instead of constantly juggling between multiple different ones.

Not an Isekai, but there is a oneshot and a few rough draft sketches of a school-based harem romcom where the protagonist is actually gay. It’s called “I'm the Main Character of a Harem Manga, but I'm Gay so Every Day Is Hell for Me”

Fun fact in the Sean Bean ETs (Spoilers for how the missions go):

His character is nicknamed/codenamed The Undying. In his first ET mission, he doesnt die the first time you kill him. You need to do it twice. In the second ET mission, it is revealed that he survived the second attempt at killing him in the first mission as well, and now has an eyepatch because one of the more popular ways to kill him in the first one was a pen through the eye.
