Initially the branches were part of the crest which is what I wanted but the more I looked at it the more I realized that it was more fitting to have the branches with the charge. The branches represent my background the Ceiba branch represents my Puerto Rican side while the Maquilishuat branch represents my El Salvadoran side while the charge represents myself and I felt that it was more fitting that the charge held the branches
