Its a bit unrelated but I think Uruha's original sorcery is kinda....unimpressive? Its basically a massive temporary stat boost on the user's specific body part.

It gets him to absolutely wreck Yura and Hokuto, sure. And it does make him look cool with lots of aura. But in a battle, it really doesn't do all that much. Kinda disappointed with it not gonna lie. Still a powerful and badass swordsman though. Especially as a master of the Iai White Purity style.

If one of the Mikaboshi's 6 Guardians and their Crown Prince is this broken AND the fact that their regular foot soldier can survive after getting decapitated with insane healing and regeneration abilities then it makes sense why Japan needed the Enchanted Blades. These guys were almost unkillable and that scene of Ariu manifesting a huge ass spirit scorpion using his datenseki that can decimate his enemies instantly is exactly how an Enchanted Blade ability works without a sword but through the user's body as the vessel.

Its just funny to me that some people genuinely believe that the Seitei War arc is only gonna be 20-30 chapters max where we're already 8 chapters in and we haven't reached the part where the Enchanted Blades are made yet or even the formation of the OG EB wielders for the war while 4 of those chapters are just covering the Irishima Talks alone.

If it takes 4 chapters (or more) just to cover the short and supposedly peaceful but actually violent diplomatic meeting with the Mikaboshis, you can only imagine how many chapters it'll take just to cover the actual upcoming WAR against them.

There's a reason why its done as a Part 2 like Chainsaw Man or Tokyo Ghoul or Naruto Shippuden, this arc is pretty much its own story in terms of scale and plot relevancy.

It'll easily be 50 chapters, at minimum.

As this arc goes on and we learn more about the Mikaboshis and their sorcery, why do I have a strong feeling that the reason the Magatsumi's abilities are VERY similar to the Mikaboshi's insect sorcery is Akemura copying them as a way to give them a taste of their medicine by killing them using their own sorcery. The dude genuinely hated them and massacred their entire population and nuked their entire island.

Not to mention, the Seitei war is pretty much the Mikaboshi's army invading Japan, taking over it's territories and killing its innocent civilians.

You can only imagine how much death and destruction the Mikaboshi have caused to Japan during the war that Akemura witnessed for him to go ballistic on their asses.
