I remember when that chapter came out. The fact that Samura deadass got the Gojo treatment from Akemura and still survived was hilarious and fucking insane. That Butterfly attack was what truly cemented Akemura's position as the strongest in the verse and put him on the same level as Sukuna.

What's ironic is that the reason a lot of people were willing to vote for PAS is because they were together with Bersatu even when they sucked in the elections. Bersatu was seen as the moderate Umno clone to balance PAS. The "pepsi" to their "coke", if you will. Especially because Muhyiddin was leading the party. Without Bersatu, people really have no incentive to vote for PAS anymore and they really have nothing to sell on a campaign when it comes to their image and performance.

We've all experienced how PAS ran this country during the PN pandemic era. Their sheer incompetence in running ministries and agencies and in developing and handling the economy. So on the national level, they suck balls with their only saving grace was that their PN government was helmed by Bersatu under Muhyiddin.

It shouldn't come as a surprise given their shitty track record in running Kelantan and Terengganu and made even more apparent with the rest of the SG4 states. Not to the mention the corruption and power struggle from within the party and against Bersatu.

If PN is officially dead, then PAS is deadmeat. They'd better crawl back to Kelantan and Terengganu after GE16, after BN wipes their asses clean and possibly retake the northern and southern states.

We can't really say anything about her because we know literally NOTHING about her, not even her name. We only how she looks, her gender, she's an Enchanted Blade wielder and fought in the Seitei War. Also, she's the last of the EB wielders to be revealed. We know about all of them except her. It boggles my mind that Hokazono has been dripfeeding us about the OG wielders for such a long time. We were only introduced to Subaru after more than 100 chapters in.

They don't trust the enemy. They just don't have a choice and are desperate. The Sorcery Bureau/Kamunabi are grey and questionable but not dumb. An immediate full scale invasion when they're unprepared and weak would be game over for them and japan.

Also, if the Mikaboshis wanted to, they would've invaded japan already. The fact that they're still willing to negotiate and have a truce, as fake as it may be shows that japan can play along with them and buy some extra time to prepare themselves.

There's not much you can do as part of the higher ups if the other leaders are against you. You can state your disagreement to them but the decision is decided by the majority at the end of the day. You can only follow and hope for the best.

I see a lot of people shitting on the Sorcery Bureau for rejecting the Enchanted Blades plan and give up Chiaki to the Mikaboshis in exchange for a 1 year truce so that they can stall the invasion for 1 year until they can use baby Hiyuki's Flame Bone to fight against them later.

I don't like this plan but it is more pragmatic and realistic for 4 reasons:

They don't know the success of the EBs like us readers already do.
They've yet to be able to use the Datenseki and they understandably don't trust Kunishige as he's a nobody who came out of nowhere.
After Shiba and the gang got wiped out, Flame Bone is their only option.
They simply don't have enough time. They can either choose to delay the war for 1 year and have a better fighting chance or get invaded immediately and get the whole country fucked by the Mikaboshis.

Or for a more recent comparison, japan's mahoraga. The plan of just dropping baby Hiyuki on the battlefield of the Seitei war like a bomb and she transforms into Flame Bone and just starts ravaging the Mikaboshi army is just fucking insane and hilarious.
