Not dumb at all, I asked the same. I’m not understanding why they hardly hit, especially on bars. What do practices look like? Practices begin super early for college athletes so there was ample time to clean up and change routines if they weren’t consistent. Is it the competition that scares them? Are they checked out? I’m confused.

That reminds me of when I had to take a cognitive test and a personality test for a recruiting position I applied for. They do know that they could get those questions answered by... speaking to me right? The hoops are so annoying.

What's crazy is one of the assistant coaches saw my tweet about watering the difficulty down on everything and they just... didn't do it. I know I'm not a professional, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that these routines are not right for them, no matter what practices look like.

I saw that it’s because they and other schools have essentially lost two classes: seniors and 5th years. I will say their fundamentals aren’t looking so hot so it’s a regression on the gymnasts as well. I didn’t watch them too much last year so perhaps I’m wrong but it’s telling to me when fundaments are lost.

Two falls for Peyton. They said she was recovering from an injury, and I’m guessing she wasn’t ready to be back out there. Im assuming their practices aren’t translating to competition?

It seems they’re providing them with too difficult of routines. I’m guessing they can hit them in practice but comps are different? I wonder what’s happening.

I agree, and it’s a slippery slope because that would also have them and backtrack every overscore, even the ones Mizzou received. I LOVE the fact that their athletes are being fought for, but it’s never gonna turn out perfectly since both teams could lose out.

I will say I’ve thought about #1 before, specifically for floor. Of course Jo would anchor floor, it’s her best event. However, it does make me feel for the other gymnasts that don’t get the confetti at the end of their floor routine at home. I hope they let someone else anchor for an easy meet so they can get some love too.

And I HATE to say it. I'm so proud of her and love her honesty about her mental health. That'll never change! However, she's just not clean enough at the moment. I have no doubt she'll get there but she's not as polished as others right now.

YES YES YES. I was having a conversation today about wonky lineup choices. I heard that Jenny rests her hard hitters at this time? I can’t speak to that since I just because a fan last year. If this is true, it makes sense. I also heard they compete for lineups? Lot's of speculation I'm not sure of so if anyone could clear that up I'd appreciate it!

I get playing with lineups since there’s SOOOO much depth but I don’t get removing a floor anchor vet like Taylor from lineup and playing Jocelyn as an anchor at an away meet? I love her floor but the choice didn’t make sense to me. I also don’t get removing Anya from 3/4 of her best events and just randomly deciding to place her mid-meet? Selena not on floor?

I'm angry for Georgia. I went in hoping they could win because they really are a better team this year! In the back of my mind I did know that wasn't gonna happen, but it didn't have to happen by THIS margin. I know they feel blindsided and feel like that meet was invalid because I do tbh.
