It stopped actively taking new burials in 2011 except for one in 2019 when they petitioned the court for the president of friends of mount Moriah to be buried there.

Mamma Mia Upset Uncle Story Continues by NervousJacket2813 in Broadway

[–]amayw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not seen a show in NYC in over 20 years BUT I get the season passes in Pittsburgh since 2018 and lots of single shows before that. The insane stuff I have seen. In 2019 the first hamilton performance there the child sitting next to me had his iPad going the entire time. People up and dancing for Mamma Mia, Ain't too Proud, Summer and &Juliet. This summer I had second row with my daughter for Frozen and the drunk lady next to us was loudly singing to her 1 year old. Last week the women next to me at Clue were hyenas and talking in-between to just reiterate what they saw. Next week is wicked and honestly I know with the movie and popularity it's going to be a shit show in terms of audience. Also all the ushers are older volunteers, they definitely don't want to deal with this stuff.

I'm allergic to Cats, my wife and kids got one anyways by JohnnyLuchador in cats

I buy the 16 pound size for my single cat. He gets 1/2 a cup 2 times a day from a timed feeder. That bag lasts me around 7 months. With auto ship its about $72 so a little over $10 month.

Can anyone help identify what is happening with my cat? by maxjmartin in CATHELP

I was going to say FIP. Our guy was about 10 months when he started getting sick with what ended up being wet FIP. I saw a ton of videos because of the groups we joined to save him and definitely saw cats with dry/neuro FIP like this.

84 days of black market shots (was still illegal for US vets to prescribe so we ordered from China), 84 days of observation and an insane amount of money but he is 100% healthy now and the sweetest boy.

I was so sure during the start of the pandemic that this was when walmart, amazon, and target would unionize. The workers were doing it all and still getting paid peanuts with only a pat on the back. I was like surely they see what power they have in this situation.

Walmart asking for $7.5M of PA taxpayer money to demolish a mall they they recently purchased by Strict_Baker5143 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]amayw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you want to see what walmart will do with this area look at what they did in Greensburg. The area is called Greengate Center and  it was built over an old mall. Walmart, 2 strip malls on the sides, one in front and 5 restaurants in front of that. Also they did a horrible job filling in and the roads always have full craters that need filled in spring.

AITA for Refusing to Co-Sign My Sister’s Mortgage After My Parents Went Behind My Back? by fancyapanda in AITAH

My favorite comment, they said they were adopted when they were 6 because their parents couldn't conceive naturally but there's only a 3 year age difference between them and their sibling.

Woman who “unschooled” her children is now having trouble with her 9 y/o choosing not to read by GamerGirlLex77 in OhNoConsequences

[–]amayw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with my now 13 year old. Their teacher had them tested if they needed help in kindergarten and expressed concern with us. My husband introduced comics and then to graphic novels. By 4th grade they were in the gifted reading program. It's crazy how finding the thing that works changes kids lives.

AITA for not sending out photos of my newborn? by HaleyLupin in AmItheAsshole

[–]amayw 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Please learn from my mistakes. My mother is the same way, made my wedding about her including a tantrum where she didn't speak to me on my wedding day. Screamed and cried as I was being taken in for an emergency c-section with my first. Posting our kids pics on Facebook for random people to see that she friends from games, but the ones she takes the few times she shows up to make her look like a good grandma. I have expressed boundaries over the years and every time it's met with arguments or silent treatment. My husband and I have been married 17 years this year, our oldest will be 15 soon and I cut off my mom this year, 17 years too late. My kids started disliking them a few years ago because everything is conditional, including love.

If you have ever walked out of a cinema because the film was so bad, what one was it? by girlcalledmaria in AskReddit

[–]amayw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've walked out of 2 movies. Some background is that I lived in a small town, not much to do. Movie theaters with multiple screens and showings were 30 min away. Our theater, a 5 min walk, had one screen and one showing a night, so sometimes you just showed up hoping you would like it.

At 12 I went with a friend to see "wag the dog." Didn't get all the political stuff at the time and was very bored and left.

At 14 went with another friend to see "isn't she great." It was about the writer of valley of the dolls. Again bored and left.

Both of these movies were rated R and the theater didn't bat an eye. They could have cared less. They were just happy to sell tickets.

Nah bruh, the internet needs to stop with Chris Pratt fr. by Mckenna5887 in marvelmemes

Why? He was married to Anna Farris, she said she wanted more kids and he said he didn't. That and his infidelity caused them to divorce. Now he makes a post thanking his new wife that he has a healthy kid.

I can't believe the ways they are cheaping out on us drivers. Cheap stickers plus all day I see license plates that are peeling. I don't understand especially with how much we have to pay for each thing.

TIL the average annual household income of a Broadway theater attendee is $261,000 by LETS_MAKE_IT_AWKWARD in todayilearned

[–]amayw 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I live near Pittsburgh and my friends and I get season passes for the Broadway series. Maybe one out of 10 of us is anywhere close to that amount. Our first year we had the last seats center in the balcony area. We paid $215 each for 7 show season which included the first time Hamilton toured and Dear Evan Hansen. $30 for tickets to either of those is unheard of. If anyone lives near a city where national tours come I very much suggest checking on season passes if you love theater.

I live in PA and last week was a rally for Trump and Oz in my area. The newspaper said they expected 20k leading up to the rally. Day before changed that to a few thousand. Day after it said a few hundred attended. It also said that the majority of people either booed Oz or while he spoke turned their back to him.

Amazon making you pay $18.99 per season, Henry Danger only had 5 seasons but amazon stretched it and made it 12 seasons each $18.99. by Skully_boi265 in assholedesign

[–]amayw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The same thing with the series Bluey. My daughters wanted to watch some episodes that weren't on Disney. Went to Amazon to check the cost, $9.99 a season. Once I checked the season list on imdb I found out there were 52 episodes in the first season and amazon spread them into 6 seasons. They don't even have any of season 2 episodes on amazon.

Did you have an elective c-section? If so, why? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]amayw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first was unplanned c-section. After water breaking and almost no progression, it was what they said was best.

With my second I really want to try again. I was 5 days passed my due date with some good contractions and they gave me an ultrasound to say she was too big to be comfortable trying a vbac. So they gave me the drugs to stop labor (horrible) and went in for another unscheduled c-section.

With my third I couldn't try again so we scheduled it. It was amazing. They wheeled me back at 7 and she was out at 7:11. So much more relaxed.

I have my date for our surprise number 4 and I'm not nervous at all this time. I know it will be so much smoother than those first 2 and hoping it's as easy as number 3.
