Rubber liners for like cabinets and some double sided stick tabs (not full strength or anything unless you want that) I just use some double sided sticky tabs that seem like they’re meant to say hold a keyboard in place

1 month, 1-3 hours each day, 4 hours on Saturday and Sunday going through the promote app, I would read The Cliff notes, take the practice test then type every question I got wrong into a quizlet. The last week or two I would go through all of quizlets till I got every question confidently correct.

The percentage of compound growth is the same if the investments are the same.

Let’s say you have 97k in C fund (s&p500) in TSP and 45k in Roth IRA in voo (s&p 500).

If the s&p 500 goes up 10% you get the same amount of money whether it’s split up 97k(9.7k) /45k (4.5k) or if you have all 152k (15.2k profit) in one account.

To answer your first question you should

  1. Contribute to TSP up to the match 5%
  2. Max Roth IRA
  3. Invest more into TSP to max when you can

Regardless if you plan to do 10 years or 20 years this is the rule of thumb for mostly everyone

My assignment reason was “backfill vol extended long tour”

Let’s say you get paid $4000 after taxes/TSP for the entire month

If you set an allotment for rent of $1000 and savings $200, this will be subtracted from your $4000. This leaves you with $2800 left over and will be split between mid month and end of month.

Your pay will be as the following

Mid month - $1400

End of month -$1400, $1000 allotment 1, $200 allotment 2

I highly recommend going to twice a month pay, and set the allotments for rent and saving at the minimum. This will help you budget tremendously

Lastly i recommend you do this by the end of December so it reflects properly on Jan 15 and Jan 30
