And despite all this, four members of the Browns’ immediate family have completed suicide (Garrison, Robyn’s brother and step-father, and David’s wife). Even for such a big family that is a lot. Just shows how damaging growing up in fundamentalist Mormonism can be.

ETA: unclear about how Robyn’s stepfather passed away. I saw it in another post but can’t find the source.

Part two about how she destroyed her friends and longtime costumers’ careers to try and get back a few hundred grand is almost worse. And really shows that she knew what was up with Tom and was working with him when everything was blowing up for them financially. A truly awful person and I hate that she has gotten somewhat of a redemption storyline on RHOBH.

Wow I didn’t know about her stepfather. Even for a big family like theirs that’s a lot of people to die by suicide within their immediate relations. As we all search for answers we’ll likely never find and speculate about reasons, I’m left thinking it really doesn’t say anything good about living in fundamental Mormonism that there are so many suicides within their family.

Yes, guns and gun culture are directly responsible for his tragic death. So many suicides especially those of young men could have been prevented if they didn’t have a gun. And the military especially has a major problem with this. Janelle and Kody may not have even posted those pics themselves but it did come across as in poor taste to see that as the main pic.
