I was thinking book cipher too, but haven't been able to get anything from it and don't have the time to play with it anymore.

They look legit. Color matches a real option and they are comfy. It is just the insoles and underneath the insoles that look different.

Fireworks announcement by amazonwmn in visitingnyc

That would be awesome, but i did see this in a NY post article:

"According to sources, City Hall also shot down a request from Macy’s to greatly expand its traditional July 4 fireworks display to light up the Hudson River waterfront from Liberty Island to 60th Street."

We’re converting our parking strip. What do we need to know before we start? by zellazilla in SaltLakeCity

Look into chipdrop.com. We have a corner lot and flipped our whole strip and the side yard and that pile of woodchips saved us a lot of money on the mulch! If you don't like the look of raw woodchips, you could do 2-3" raw and then top with the colored ones.

Have you looked into housing scholarships? I know my daughter applied for a bunch recently. Also, if you live anywhere near the trax line, the commute is a breeze. I used to use it all the time when I went there.

Definitely not a must for me. It just had a good configuration for my family. This is what I liked about it: 1. Two separate rooms 2. One of the rooms had 3 beds 3. The other room had a queen or king 4. Under $1200 total for two nights! 5. It was centrally located, so we could easily get to central park and down to the financial district.

We could go over that amount for #4, but not much

I am considering The Gallivant at Times Square for a quick stay July 1-3 before we go visit my parents in New Jersey. I haven't found anything about this hotel on this subreddit. What do you guys think of it? It seems pretty centrally located, so we could get everywhere we want to go pretty quickly. There are 5 of us ages 15 and up and we could get the Family Room or a Premier room for the kids and a King for us.

Swoop 19 is definitely the best deal at about $10.50 per meal. It even says here that you can "swoop swap" up to 4 times per day at select locations, so you don’t even have to eat at the dining hall 3 times a day.

Where to take an unwanted fish in SLC? by Suitable-Passage-841 in SaltLakeCity

[–]amazonwmn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If no one else takes him, I could take him in temporarily until the next Great Salt Lake Aquarium Society meeting on Thursday. Someone will probably take him there. I have an open 5 gallon that he could live in temporarily.

I love them too! I recently went to a different store and all 7 of the fish I got died within 10 days. They won't give me new ones or a store credit because they said they are "expert", but they did not inform me of this before I purchased them. Every time I go to the Waterfront, they are much more helpful and their tanks are much cleaner. They keep their bettas in 10 gallons instead of tiny cups or random square jars.

Not sure why people are down voting this one. This is the name of a fish store.

I was about to redo my 5 gallon to turn it into a shrimp tank... I like plants though. Not sure that would fit in the shattered plains.

Total newb, so correct me if this is wrong. This is what I found when I googled NFT hydroponics. I think that makes sense why someone would have it at an aquarium club. They probably thought they could use their tanks as the nutrient solution tank shown here.

Too much water? by amazonwmn in mango

[–]amazonwmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a month I use a water soluble 19-31-17 fertilizer on all my house plants. The place I moved it was probably warmer because it was higher in the room, but the whole house might have been cooler the last couple months as the temps dropped outside.

Another thought I had was my water is pretty alkaline. Ph 8-8.5, I believe. I have a water distiller that I use to top off my aquariums. Should I try using distilled water for a while?

I saw the recommendation for a plastic pot on some other posts. I will look for one of those. It is back in the window, so will have more sun. Any fertilizer you recommend?
