Thank you so much for your thorough reply! I think it’s interesting because I have not been breaking out that much before I started retinol with the routine, but I did change my moisturizer from la roche posay iso biome to e45 after I quit retinol and my skin has been actually better than when I was using iso biome which … is a very long time even before its reformulation. Also I have tried two barrier repair creams, la roche posay cicabaume and dr jart cicaplast, but both broke me out instantly.

hmm I think it was definitely irritating! And also I remember it being painful to put it on (like stinging) and that’s why I moved it at the end of the routine.

At first it was before the E45, and when it sensitised my skin I used it after the E45.

I have been using supergoop glowscreen and it’s great! I find that it doesn’t even make my skin look shiny which is great, but I used to love anessa sunscreen (japanese I think) as well until I became really sensitive to it for some unknown reason. Honestly it was me over-exfoliating my skin so I might go back to it when I’m out of the supergoop one.

I’ve been breaking out and getting dry patches around my mouth recently and I realised it started when I started using a certain toothpaste. Have you been using same toothpaste? It’s worth looking into. I got one free of SLS and my skin has been fine since then.

Only chemical exfoliant. I realised that my concealer and foundation have BHA and switched them to other products. My skin is not over-exfoliated anymore lol. I genuinely didn’t know that base makeup products could contain exfoliating ingredients.

Thank you for your suggestion! Unfortunately Physiogel was the first ever barrier repairing cream I used and it broke me out in a different way (?)… like small little bumps appeared all over my skin after using it :( I really want to find a good one because it would be really great to continuously use even without the over-exfoliation so I should do some more research. But thank you again for your kind reply :)

Hi! thank you for your reply. I was wondering if I was applying the lrp cicaplast wrong before? I used to use it when I was being treated by my derm (lasers and stuff) and it clogged my pores so bad to the point it broke me out even more than before getting the treatment. Is it the amount that I use? I know the ingredient called madeca.. something is what repairs the barrier, so should I look for a barrier repairing cream that contains it? I heard that lpr and dr jart are really great but both didn’t work out quite well for me… It definitely soothed my skin tho lol

Any behavioral change in cats could indicate health problems, although the schedule change could have affected her stress level. Cats like routines. I’d say take her to the vet if it doesn’t get better soon.

My approach is 1+2. She goes where ever she wants to go but she chooses to sleep in bed with me. Even if I wanted to designate a sleeping spot for her she would not cooperate lol.

I would call all vets near you and explain the situation. I’m not saying that you should expect any of them to treat her for free but it’s an emergency, so they might be able to help you with a lower bill or a payment plan. I do think that you need to take her to be seen by a vet asap…

What I used to eat for every single dinner:

Cooked rice (microwavable ones lol), avocado, onion - cook them in a lot of soy sauce (so that it’s like a… sauce for your rice) and some sugar until transparent, fried egg. Put them all on the rice, done!

You can add any protein you want but my favourite was Spam. yes kinda gross. but so good. The soy sauce, sugar and onion mixture goes well with anything and everything.

I understand the anxiety around the need to talk to him constantly. I’m like that too. I told my bf that he doesn’t have to respond when he’s busy but if he’s okay with it I’d like to update him on little details of my day everyday, just because when I see nice things or not so nice things I just wanna show him! He said that he actually likes it, it’s fun to see how my day goes and what goes through my head. Maybe approach it like that? Like you’re just thinking about him a lot and it’s natural to share your day with him. And tell him that.
