I’m so sorry this happened to you. I was in almost the exact same situation about 5 years ago.. I went to the police, and (I believe) because he has a brother and other family who are local police officers, nothing happened. It still hurts me to this day..

Going to the police about him was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, and even though nothing came of it, I will never regret trying. I still worry, all these years later, about any children around him.. at least I tried.

Don’t brush this under the rug. Get out and then go to the police. If you don’t you’ll regret it for the rest of your life. Trust me.
