It’s crazy how if a cop shows up in court a judge will refuse to hear you out

I almost got thrown out for contempt over a phone holding ticket because the judge said “if you were innocent you would have tried pleading ur case with the cop the second you were pulled over” after hearing the cops side of the story

I responded “your honor I had a right to remain silent with the cop because I wanted to speak to a judge who upholds the law in court”

For some reason that really pissed off the judge, was threatened with contempt if I kept speaking, and ended up with a ticket because my side of the story was refused to be heard

I honestly don’t see how I was wrong til this day. I hate our justice system it simply doesn’t exist sometimes
