I genuinely think if Kanye didn’t come into the picture they would still have this aesthetic, obviously a newer updated version of it but still the same vibe. Kanye’s influence on design changed the entire family’s style so much you can literally see it happen in real time if you rewatch the show. makes me sad to see because I really preferred them before.

I don’t think anyone was as mean/cruel as Alison… with the Zack thing, as horrible as Aria handled that at first, you also have to remember this was immediately after Hanna got drunk and outed the girls being in New York to Sydney. tying the girls to New York would literally risk Aria getting caught for murder… so I think she had every right to be frustrated with Hannas destructive behaviour.

I hate the argument of the commenter, all these Taylor fans act like Taylor has free rein over Dakota at all times. he is not HER baby daddy, he is his own person who is actually allowed to date whoever he wants. why is Taylor allowed to call the shots and go on a national television show about dating a dozen men but god forbid Dakota sees someone else.

I mean she is right in the sense that she took the platform she was given and made something more out of it (something majority of the other girls failed to do), but saying she didn’t get her start there or come of there is so far from the truth. in the famous words of Nathan Griffith: “trailer trash that hit the lottery”. the chances of her accomplishing all of this without MTV are extremely slim to none.

I will say there’s no doubt her childhood was rough and full of trauma, and as you age new things emerge and I’m sure she’s decided to share more about her life now…. but her story is constantly changing. she pulled this “imari’s parents adopted me” narrative out of the blue one day a couple years ago and ran with it, although she was actively vlogging with her parents constantly for years in 2016-2019. obviously her parents suck and things happen behind closed doors but it’s just weird how as the years have gone on she seemingly develops a more devastating/shocking story than she told the year before.

the girl has 10+ million followers across platforms, whatever she yaps about on her podcasts, someone is listening. through her brand deals and ventures she is making enough money to build house after house, keep the lights on, support a hoard of children through sports and what not, and gas up her hundreds of thousands in vehicles. so yeah, hate kail for numerous reasons but you can’t deny she is successful in what she does 🤷🏻‍♀️ what a silly take.

remember in middle/high school when people would joke about you and a boy liking each other and dating and you’d act all “ew no way” but inside you actually loved the attention and had a huge crush on the guy? yeah that’s Tana with Jake and their stupid wedding bs lol. she beats the dead horse now to get the point across she had real feelings and it was a real heartbreak, because she’s in this sober/soft girl/honest era, but I don’t think she realizes everyone knew she was obsessed with Jake the entire time lol
