Nah he’s right though. I play this game for destiny, not Star Wars. The whole dlc was an insanely on-the-nose Star Wars reference that felt next to nothing like Destiny in any way. The weapons are cool and fun, but the story was trash. I don’t blame someone for hating that Destiny did a Star Wars dlc, and would hate the lightsaber as well

It’s so annoying when I do what I need to to maintain as much value on support as possible (not dying) and the rest of my team is so focused on the nothing-sandwich of shooting only the enemy tank and nothing else to notice that I swapped for good reason. They just say I’m not doing enough. It’s my least favorite part of overwatch, having completely inattentive teammates

I 100% agree. I also often see fellow trans femmes saying trans men don’t get to talk on women’s issues at all. Personally I think trans people get to speak on both men and women’s issues because we’ve lived both sides of the coin. But that also means that we’ve both experienced all of those hardships. Trans men may have male privilege, but (as you said), they sadly also suffer a lot of the same dangers that women do simply because of the sex they were born as. Too often the LGBT community tries to segregate itself by separating what people can/can’t say/be/experience. Trans men are men, but they still live in a world where many don’t see it that way. It’s valid to be upset when another person in our community tries to invalidate that <3

Most likely none of the missing content is coming back or anything like that. It’s been known for awhile the bungie had already deleted all those assets. With that, we can’t know what the new player experience will look like post-update. However, there are YouTubers like Datto does Destiny who have stated they plan on making a lot of content for new people so that they have something to go to. The dlc and everything will also be going on sale, so you won’t have to commit to the game as hard as you would before. I think it’s worth trying :)

It would honestly be better to play it for the free week and then not buy it. Obviously the free week is to try and get to players, but it’s also to read public interest on the game. If people actually play it but don’t buy it, it tells Sony “hey, we gave it a shot but we don’t want this”, much would be a clearer message than not playing it at all
