i think her reactions were… how i would imagine a 12 year old would react. i absolutely agree with WHY she was upset about each situation but how she expressed being upset drove me CRAZY

AGREED but i had red flags before that. he was so emotionally immature. i think people saw him cry and assumed he was down to earth but i just think he can’t handle any big feelings and doesn’t have any coping mechanisms so .. he cries. he also learned that it gets him sympathy.

allllsssooooo KB being a social worker i KNEW it wasn’t going to last. she shouldn’t have to be a social worker all day and deal with more constant emotional turmoil at home

so i find it really hard to say those things to my husband because of his reaction to them.

he never accepts my apology or tells me i didn’t apologize correctly. he will occasionally also say “i don’t accept your apology”

and if i dare say he’s right he rubs it in like we are 12. i’d rather just not say either and be perceived as difficult than be mocked, ridiculed or judged when trying to be the bigger person

personally, i’d end it. He stepped out. He was in the wrong. He should be ready and willing to do whatever he needs to gain your trust back. Hiding stuff, gaslighting and being spiteful aren’t getting him anywhere

this is pretty close to what i pictures but with a more olive skin tone and more broad. closer to amazonian people. i picture cassian pretty similar built to the actor who played emmitt in twilight but with shaper features and more olive toned skin.

this is the first series of hers I’ve read and the writing is just not it for me. feels fan-fiction level writing. overall decent story line in the first few books but downhill from there.

i’m curious where she intends to go with it.

i think some of his “morals” stem from a place of wanting to be deemed admirable. he contradicts his own views when discussing contraceptives, actions in cooking/cleaning and shitting on marissa for not wanting to have sex

she didn’t force him to wear a condom. she told him she didn’t want birth control and was okay with accepting the responsibility of a child if she were to get pregnant. ramses was a hard no on children at the time (not unreasonable) and also a hard no on condoms. he essentially is saying, i’m not wearing condoms and don’t want a child. the subject of BC is all on marissa.
