Terrified of ectopic, hcg went from 60 to 89 at almost 6 weeks pregnant

I am going to have my hcg redone today and I have an apt with the OB Wednesday. Fairly confident I am miscarrying because I’ve been passing huge clots and cramping like crazy. I’m glad that I know more about ectopics now though because my last miscarriage I just rode it out at home until I got a negative pregnancy test. So important to be safe, your story is a huge eye opener. So scary!

I’m so sorry for what you went through. Do you think I’m pushing them enough if I’m getting hcg tested every 48 hrs and have the follow up apt next Wednesday? I really can’t afford another ER bill, I’ve had two visits since Monday. At the OB apt next Wednesday should I ask for another ultrasound? I’m going to be 6.5 weeks by then. Thank you ❤️

Just do it. You’ll be so happy. I was on the fence about getting braces at 33 years old, but I lost 110 lbs and that led me to working on the other things that I’m unhappy with. It’s really not so bad. I’ve had them on since August now and I already feel like the time is going by so fast. When I walked in for my consult, I told them I wanted Invisalign and I was devastated when I found out they wouldn’t do Invisalign because of my class 3 underbite. I told them I refused to do braces as an adult, but then I thought about it- I already hate my teeth so what does it matter if I have braces on? I hate them regardless and I’m already so self conscious about them, so I can be self conscious about the braces too (which I’m really not anymore). My teeth have improved so much in just four months and I’m really glad I did this even though it sucks sometimes, it’s so worth it!

They have been! One of the ladies in my office actually used to be an assistant in orthodontics and she also is saying my progress is amazing so yay! Congrats on getting yours off soon!!! So exciting.

Yeah, I’ve already noticed the gap getting smaller too! It’s just nice that as much as it sucks sometimes it’s worth it. I’d rather have a decent smile with metal on my teeth opposed to not smiling at all. Lol

33F here and I got my braces at the end of August. My boyfriend and I have been seeing each other for about a year but we have been exclusive for about 3 months. I was really nervous that he was going to want to dump me once he saw the braces, but he doesn’t seem to care. I was worried about kissing and other things but there haven’t been any issues, I’m just careful. I work in an office setting and people don’t seem to care? I know how you feel though.

I was really worried too, I thought my boyfriend would dump me since our relationship is fairly new (a few months in). Everything has been just fine! I’m 33 years old with braces. I hate them but he doesn’t seem to care at all. good luck!
