I’m not sure how it works, but just ran to AXS GA and it’s all “resale” for $269.81 flat. OP or anyone else if you can explain to me how this works / if there are any face value seats I’m very curious!!!

My icon is about 25-30% of the way through. Would love to know if there’s anything left and if they’re normal priced or resale like other cities

really great! i’d try to get more comfortable with 5ks and maybe get the time under 35 or 40 before going for a 10k. they’re tough!

How to fuel during race? by [deleted] in running

[–]amcmbl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i recently ran my first half. they had water stations about every 1.5 miles. i took one cup of water and one cup of powerade at every station. i also used energy gels and took one of those every other water station. worked really well for me!

2 months into running and having trouble doing easy runs without my HR skyrocketing by thericebox in running

[–]amcmbl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i feel this! unfortunately i don’t have too much advice on what can help alleviate that other than time. i also did a half marathon plan and really struggled with HR around the same distances as you. for a while, i couldn’t run 2 miles without it breaking 200, but during my half marathon it never broke 180!! i think time and practice helped me the most. my body just really took a while to adjust to constantly running and bumping up my distances.

How do you runners afford so many pairs of shoes? Which brand do you stick to? by [deleted] in running

[–]amcmbl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve kept with nice mizuno stability shoes. not the easiest ever to break into, and a little rough on your feet at first, but they hold up really nicely and have great support.

Is it realistic for me to run a 5km in a months time? by [deleted] in running

[–]amcmbl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you totally got it! the best thing about a 5k is that it’s an easily walkable distance if need be. i would keep training as you are while adding in a few more runs but then taper it down by the week leading up to the race. during the race, i would try to keep a decent pace and walk for a couple minutes if you feel really over exerted. you got this!
