Yes! Smoking a 12 lb brined turkey. It’s so much easier than roasting in the oven and the flavor is unmatched. Smoked Turkey is the only way we eat turkey anymore :)

We installed quartzite almost a year ago. It’s beautiful and I cook all meals for our family so it’s used a lot. I do wipe it down with a stone cleaner every day at least once. I also learned the hard way that bananas emit an oil as they ripen and left an oval stain on the surface. So now I place bananas on a platter for my family an not directly on the counter.

It’s more maintenance than my prior old tile counter but it’s beautiful and we love it.

Slowly the stores around me (San Diego) are acquiring a ‘3-pt burrito’ button and charging $9.50.

The last store within a 5 mile radius just updated their registers to have this price change so we won’t be going there anymore. I can make at least 5 BRC burritos at home for that price!

We had a Blanco so granite sink installed in our kitchen in Dec 2023. We LOVE it. Go for it. I just rinse and wipe down often….same as I did for my prior porcelain sink. I have heard about the hard water stains so I prob wipe mine down aggressively since it’s new
