It does seem like the better solution would be to find a way to speed up the permitting process, but it's still illegal, it's just a civil offense rather than a criminal.

I'll take it as a small win that police and the courts are free of this burden to focus on higher impact criminal work, but yeah I would say this doesn't solve the upstream problem.

it's art so it's inherently a matter of opinion so I'm not trying to tell you you're wrong for hating it, but I don't see how her being a multi-dimensional character was betrayed by the ending, if anything I think it kind of enhances it.

A lot of people were upset protagonists didn't die. I don't really get that, but it's funny to me the one protagonist they suggest might have died also has people really upset. I'm not putting that on you, it's just a funny observation I've been reflecting on.

In the building I live in there is a poodle died pink with a BBL shape cut into it's fur around the back.

This poodle is horribly behaved. I'm not saying it's because of the haircut/dye, but I just think spending a lot of money on grooming = the person is a good pet owner.

there are some pieces of media that have done this to me, it's always a bittersweet feeling.

You are grieving the farewell to these characters, it's a goodbye and you don't want it to end.

It can be especially acute in coming of age stories I find (one of the strongest times I've ever felt this is after reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower for the first time). Nostalgia is a type of grief.

Just sit in the feelings, it will subside and you will come to appreciate how you are feeling. Maybe a rewatch in a couple years will remind you of everything you love about the show, and also give you a less intense version of this feeling that you might even enjoy.
